The women&#8217;s 200 backstroke and men&#8217;s 1650 free RMAC records were broken.<\/p>\n<p>In the finals of the women&#8217;s 1650 freestyle <strong>Kyleigh Troxel<\/strong> of Lindenwood won the event in the time of 17:01.94. Cal Baptist took silver and bronze in the event. <strong>Christie Halverson<\/strong> took second place with a 17:11.37 and her teammate <strong>Courtney Chacon<\/strong> went a 17:34.85 for third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sam Bryant<\/strong> added to his list of wins this weekend with the men&#8217;s 1650 freestyle for Colorado Mesa. He took the gold with a 15:38.90 and with this time he broke the previous RMAC record of 15:41.03. Bryant won the men&#8217;s 1000 free, 400 IM and 500 free as well this weekend. <strong>Robert Griffith<\/strong> of Cal Baptist came in second with a 15:40.44 and his teammate <strong>Elijah Barrows \u00a0<\/strong>touched in at 15:51.25 for the bronze.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 100 freestyle Western State&#8217;s <strong>Randi Yarnell<\/strong> won the event with a 50.82. Yarnell also won the 50 and 200 freestyle this weekend. Cal Baptist&#8217;s <strong>Patricia Hapsari<\/strong> touched the wall at a 50.85 for the silver and Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Bethany Steffes<\/strong> came in third place with a 51.72.<\/p>\n<p>Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Serghi Golban<\/strong> bested his morning swim and\u00a0won\u00a0the men&#8217;s 100 freestyle with a 44.07. Cal Baptist&#8217;s <strong>Alexis Ohmar<\/strong> took the silver with a 44.70. <strong>Sky Hirsch<\/strong> from Colorado Mesa came in third with a 45.11.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mary Saiz<\/strong>\u00a0from Colorado Mesa bested her\u00a0morning swim in the women&#8217;s 200 backstroke with a 1:58.01. With this time she reset the RMAC record she broke this morning. Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Alecia McGillivray<\/strong> came in second with a 2:03.16. Cal Baptist&#8217;s <strong>Kylie Mihld<\/strong> swam to the bronze with a 2:04.05.<\/p>\n<p>Cal Baptist&#8217;s <strong>Joshua Hanson<\/strong> won\u00a0the men&#8217;s 200 backstroke with the time of 1:45.81. <strong>Justin Hastings<\/strong> came in second with a 1:47.75 and\u00a0Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Krzysztof Jankiewicz<\/strong>\u00a0placed third with a 1:48.02.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 200 breastroke, <strong>Alena Rumiantceva<\/strong> of Cal Baptist won the event in a 2:15.82. Colorado Mesa&#8217;s <strong>Miranda Reetz<\/strong> took the silver with a 2:19.31. Lindenwood&#8217;s<strong> Ewa Dymarek<\/strong> went a 2:20.44 for the bronze.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mateusz Pacholczyk<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 200 breastroke in the time of 1:59.20. Colorado Mesa took the silver and bronze. <strong>Josh Bedford<\/strong> came second\u00a0with a 2:02.32. His teammate <strong>Ryan Gifford<\/strong> came in third place with a 2:03.28.<\/p>\n<p>Lindenwood&#8217;s women&#8217;s 400 freestyle relay won tonight in the time of 3:27.07 with <strong>Kinga Lesinska<\/strong> (52.21), <strong>Bethany Steffes<\/strong> (51.47), <strong>Kate Stauffer<\/strong> (51.74) and McGillivray (51.65). It was a race for the silver between Cal Baptist and Colorado School of Mines. Cal Baptist&#8217;s team of <strong>Hailey Golden<\/strong> (53.05), <strong>Robin Smallwood<\/strong> (52.37), Halverson (52.06) and Hapsari (50.89) took second with a 3:28.37. Colorado School of Mines came in third (3:28.89) with <strong>Brittany Holloway<\/strong> (52.56), <strong>Sarah Berube<\/strong> (52.11), <strong>Abigail Wong<\/strong> (53.00) and <strong>Carrie Kralovec<\/strong> (51.22).<\/p>\n<p>Cal Baptist&#8217;s men won the 400 freestyle relay. The team of Hanson (44.45), <strong>Bernando Valentim<\/strong> (44.75), <strong>Brent Teraoka<\/strong> (45.27) and Ohmar (44.38) went a 2:58.88 for the gold. Lindenwood went a 3:00.02 with Golban (43.78), <strong>Joey Martin<\/strong> (45.80), <strong>Sam Stapleton<\/strong> (45.10) and <strong>Michal Szczukowski<\/strong> (45.34) for second place.
