The women&#8217;s and men&#8217;s 500 free, 100 back, 100 breast and 200 butterfly were swam. The women&#8217;s 200 butterfly RMAC record fell this morning.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Lindenwood&#8217;s winner of both the 1000 freestyle and 400 IM, <strong>Alecia McGillivray<\/strong>, also touched the wall first in the 500 freestyle this morning in the time of 4:58.77. Cal Baptist&#8217;s <strong>Christie Halverson<\/strong> came in second with a 5:01.39 and\u00a0<strong>Hannah Vinyard<\/strong> of Lindenwood touched third (5:01.39).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mary Saiz<\/strong> had the fastest time this morning in the women&#8217;s 100 backstroke with a 55.96. Colorado School of Mines, <strong>Claire Collier<\/strong> came in second with a 56.91 and Adam&#8217;s State&#8217;s Marissa Mantzey finished in third (57.62).<\/p>\n<p>Alena Rumiantceva (1:03.39) placed first this morning in the 100 breast. Her teammate\u00a0<strong>Robin Smallwood\u00a0<\/strong>came in third with a 1:04.59.\u00a0<strong>Ewa Dymarek<\/strong> of Lindenwood came in second with a 1:04.12.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Courtney Chacon<\/strong> of Cal Baptist got first in this morning 200 butterfly. She went a 2:04.39 and with this time she broke the 2013 RMAC of 2:05.27. Mesa&#8217;s <strong>Eryn Leonard<\/strong> finished second with a 2:05.66 and Lindenwood&#8217;s Vinyard placed third with a 2:06.93 after swimming the 500 free as well this morning.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Sam Bryant<\/strong> of Colorado Mesa, who won the 1000 free and 400 IM, had the fasted time of the morning in the men&#8217;s 500 freestyle with a time of 4:31.14. Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Felix Eigel<\/strong> had the second fastest time of 4:33.77 and <strong>Tanner Shore<\/strong> of Cal Baptist, is going into tonight seeded third (4.34.99).<\/p>\n<p>Mesa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Justin Hastings<\/strong> touched the wall first this morning in the men&#8217;s 100 backstroke in the time of 49.27. Colorado School of Mines took second and third in this morning&#8217;s event.\u00a0<strong>Cort Hanson\u00a0<\/strong>had the second fastest time of a 50.67 and teammate\u00a0<strong>Justin Dearden<\/strong> finished third (51.00).<\/p>\n<p>Mesa also had the fastest time in the men&#8217;s 100 breastroke. <strong>Josh Bedford<\/strong> went a 55.96 to be seeded first tonight. It was a race for second this morning between Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Mateusz Pacholczyk<\/strong> (56.32) and <strong>Samuel Knott<\/strong> of Cal Baptist who finished third in a 56.45.<\/p>\n<p>Cal Baptist took the top three places this morning in the men&#8217;s 200 butterfly. <strong>Joshua Hanson<\/strong>, winner of the 200 IM, had the fastest time this morning with a 1:49.68. <strong>Chris Sander<\/strong> came in second with a 1:50.09 and <strong>Jean Monteagudo<\/strong> finished third (1:51.09).<\/p>\n<p>Finals will begin tonight at 5pm (MST).<\/p>\n<p>All prelims results available on Meet Mobile.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Delaney Lanker, Swimming World College Intern\u00a0 Day 3 began of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships this morning hosted by Colorado Mesa University.
