The Wildcats are in first place. The University of Maryland, Baltimore County is in second (102 points), Vermont is in third (99 points), followed by Maine (86 points) and Binghamton (61 points).<\/p>\n<p>New Hampshire took the women&#8217;s 800-yard freestyle relay. The team of\u00a0<strong>Liza Baykova, Brittany Moffatt, Jess Harper\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Brittany Driscoll<\/strong> touched in 7:16.14.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Maryland, Baltimore County took second in 7:23.01 and Vermont took third with a time of 7:27.49. Maine and Binghamton finished fourth and fifth, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Maryland, Baltimore County brought home a relay victory in the 200-yard medley relay. Backstroker\u00a0<strong>Lauren Day,\u00a0<\/strong>breaststroker\u00a0<strong>Emily Escobedo,\u00a0<\/strong>butterflier\u00a0<strong>Amanda Day\u00a0<\/strong>and freestyler\u00a0<strong>Kristie Langford\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:41.26. Vermont took second with a time of 1:43.48 and New Hampshire was third in 1:44.91.<\/p>\n<p>Vermont&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maggie Preston\u00a0<\/strong>took first place in one-meter diving. The senior posted a score of 248.90. Maryland, Baltimore County&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Coco Darelius\u00a0<\/strong>was second with 214.55 and New Hampshire&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hailee Miller\u00a0<\/strong>was third with a score of 2:14.25.\u00a0<strong>Savanna Desmarais, Hayli Weitz, Erin Cullather, Kayla Bousfield\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Nadja Bzhilyanskaya\u00a0<\/strong>rounded out the top eight finishers in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow&#8217;s individual events: 500-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard individual medley, 50-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After day one of the America East Championships, the New Hampshire\u00a0women have\u00a0tallied 125 points.
