Both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s 1000 freestyle RMAC records were broken. The men&#8217;s 200 IM and 200 medley relay records also went down tonight.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 1000 freestyle Lindenwood took the top two spots. <strong>Alecia McGillivray<\/strong> won the event in a 10:08.67 and with this time she crushed the previous 2012 RMAC record of 10:12.79. Her teammate <strong>Kyleigh Trowel<\/strong> finished second in a 10:10.50. Cal Baptist&#8217;s <strong>Christie Halverson<\/strong> placed third with a 10:13.57.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alena Rumiantceva<\/strong> of Cal Baptist (2:06.37) out touched <strong>Erin Sutton<\/strong> of Lindenwood (2:06.86) in the women&#8217;s 200 IM. Cal Baptist also took third place, with <strong>Kylie Mihld<\/strong> coming in at a 2:07.36.<\/p>\n<p>Western State&#8217;s <strong>Randi Yarnell<\/strong> came in first tonight in the women&#8217;s 50 freestyle with a time of 23.54. <strong>Mary Saiz<\/strong> of Mesa finished second in a 23.71 and <strong>Patricia Y Hapsari<\/strong> from Cal Baptist touched right behind for third (23.79).<\/p>\n<p>To close the meet, Cal Baptist&#8217;s 200 medley team of <strong>Andrea Laliena<\/strong> (26.67), Alena Rumiantceva (28.57), <strong>Kristina Tchernyschev<\/strong> (24.84) and Patricia Y Hapsari (22.99)\u00a0won the event in the time of 1:43.07. Colorado Mesa&#8217;s team came in second (1:44.86) with Mary Saiz (26.33), <strong>Miranda Reetz<\/strong> (29.53), <strong>Eryn Leonard<\/strong> (25.10) and <strong>Marissa Bradley<\/strong> (23.90). Colorado School of Mines came in third (1:45.81) with the team of <strong>Claire Collier, Abigail Wong, Carissa Anderson<\/strong>\u00a0and<strong>\u00a0Brittany Holloway.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Mesa&#8217;s <strong>Sam Bryant<\/strong> won the final of the 1000 freestyle today in the time of 9:18.46, with this time Bryant broke the 2015 RMAC record of 9:19.75. Cal Baptist&#8217;s <strong>Robert Griffith<\/strong> came in second (9:20.53) and Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Sylvester Borowicz<\/strong> <strong>Skoneczny<\/strong> finished third (9:25.75).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joshua Hanson<\/strong> from Cal Baptist bested his time the men&#8217;s 200 IM and won the event with a 1:47.27. With this time Hanson broke his own RMAC record of 1:47.52. Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Felix Eigel<\/strong> came in second at 1:49.88 and <strong>Josh Bedford<\/strong> came in third for Mesa with a 1:51.14.<\/p>\n<p>Lindenwood&#8217;s <strong>Serghei Golban<\/strong> broke 20 seconds in the men&#8217;s 50 freestyle. He won the event in a 19.67. Mesa took second and third place tonight with <strong>Justin Hastings<\/strong> (20.45) coming in second and <strong>Sky Hirsch (<\/strong>20.46) finishing third only one hundredth of a second apart.<\/p>\n<p>Lindenwood won the men&#8217;s 200 medley relay tonight with the team of <strong>Krzysztof Jankiewicz<\/strong> (22.32), <strong>Mateuez Pacholczyk<\/strong> (23.96), <strong>Serghel Golban<\/strong> (20.37) and <strong>Michal Szczukowski<\/strong> (20.15) going a 1:26.80. With this time, the team broke the previous RMAC record, 1:27.78. Colorado Mesa came in second (1:28.13) with the team of <strong>Justin Hastings<\/strong> (22.16), <strong>Josh Bedford<\/strong> (25.12), <strong>Chris Radomski<\/strong> (20.93) and <strong>Sky Hirsch <\/strong>(19.92). Cal Baptist finished third (1:31.58) with <strong>James Wilson<\/strong> (23.84), <strong>Justin Quiroga<\/strong> (25.41), <strong>Jean Monteagudo<\/strong> (22.25) and <strong>Brent Teraoka<\/strong> (20.08).<\/p>\n<p>Women&#8217;s Scores<\/p>\n<p>1.
