The W&amp;L junior touched in 2:02.16. Teammates\u00a0<strong>Kira Tomenchok\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Stephanie Foster\u00a0<\/strong>finished second and third in 2:07.59 and 2:10.09.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elisabeth Holmes\u00a0<\/strong>will attempt to go three for three on ODAC titles tonight. This morning she dropped three quarters of a second to claim the top seed in the 100 freestyle with a 52.97. She was just ahead of Emory and Henry&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jessica Richardson\u00a0<\/strong>(52.99) and the General&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Elle Chancey\u00a0<\/strong>(53.00). With these three ladies racing, the 2004 meet record of 52.65 could fall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michaela Nolte\u00a0<\/strong>proved that she is the breaststroker of the weekend, cruising to a top seed and dropping her own meet and open records with a 2:20.32 in the 200. Hollins&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Claire Webber\u00a0<\/strong>came off her third place finish in the 100 to take the second seed this morning in 2:26.76. She finished just ahead of Washington and Lee&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jillian Leigh\u00a0<\/strong>(2:27.05).<\/p>\n<p>Washington and Lee took the top four seeds in the 200 butterfly.\u00a0<strong>Cassidy Fuller\u00a0<\/strong>lead the way with a 2:08.85.\u00a0<strong>Haylee Rademann\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Mara Tynan\u00a0<\/strong>touched close together in 2:10.16 and 2:10.33.<\/p>\n<p>In prelims of the 400 freestyle relay, Emory and Henry swam\u00a0<strong>Adaira Brewer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Taylor Guardalabene<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kelsey Jones<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Marina Moore\u00a0<\/strong>to earn the top seed in 3:43.96. Randolph-Macon took second with\u00a0<strong>Rachel Leigh<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mollie Smith<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kata Kylliainen<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Megan Granger\u00a0<\/strong>in a 3:45.32. The Generals touched third (3:49.77) with\u00a0<strong>Allison Murtagh<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jordan Watson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Shannon Belforti<\/strong><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Maddie Simko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Emory and Henry&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nicole Powell\u00a0<\/strong>topped morning 1650 action with an 18:43.40. Timed finals of the top eight will be swum tonight.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet:<\/h2>\n<p>The top three swimmers in the 200 backstroke were solidly under two minutes.\u00a0<strong>Ivan Fadeyev\u00a0<\/strong>of Randolph-Macon swam a 1:54.64 while W&amp;L teammates\u00a0<strong>Patrick Lawrence\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Thomas Agostini\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:56.60 and 1:56.98.<\/p>\n<p>Conference record holder <strong>Tommy Thetford\u00a0<\/strong>cruised through the morning 100 freestyle in a 47.25. He finished behind teammate\u00a0<strong>Jake Burns\u00a0<\/strong>(46.99), but ahead of Randolph-Macon&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mohamed Saleh\u00a0<\/strong>(47.39) who grabbed the third seed.<\/p>\n<p>Randolph-Macon teammates\u00a0<strong>Robert Redenz\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Josh Carter\u00a0<\/strong>each had three second drops to finish the morning as the first and second seeds with times of 2:09.75 and 2:09.91. W&amp;L&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Trent Babcock\u00a0<\/strong>dropped five seconds to earn third (2:10.00).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Noah Schammel\u00a0<\/strong>dropped his own meet and open record in the 200 butterfly to a 1:52.83. Teammate\u00a0<strong>Alex Fox\u00a0<\/strong>earned the third seed with a 1:59.47.\u00a0<strong>Hudson Elmore\u00a0<\/strong>of Hampden-Sydney was second (1:58.95).<\/p>\n<p>Randolph-Macon took the top 400 free relay seed. Redenz,\u00a0<strong>Alex Daube<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Daniel Whitehead<\/strong>, and Saleh swam a 3:22.60. W&amp;L snagged second as\u00a0<strong>Jacob Rosen<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>John Carmody<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Austin Jennings<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Thomas Caldwell\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 3:24.18.
