The Big Red men currently hold the lead over Kenyon, and the final event in their battle with the Lords should be another exciting relay.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Two Kenyon freshmen were first to the wall in the first event of the morning.\u00a0<strong>Delaney Ambrosen\u00a0<\/strong>was well ahead in a 2:02.05, while teammate\u00a0<strong>Abby Chopp\u00a0<\/strong>stopped the clock at 2:05.14. DePauw&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kirsten Olson\u00a0<\/strong>recorded a 2:05.65.<\/p>\n<p>The Kenyon women put together another impressive morning, putting five Ladies into the Championship final of the 100 freestyle. Senior\u00a0<strong>Hannah Lobb\u00a0<\/strong>lead the way with a 50.73. Her teammate\u00a0<strong>Jenner McLeod\u00a0<\/strong>earned the third seed with a 51.52. Denison&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mary Van Leuven\u00a0<\/strong>touched second this morning in 51.28.<\/p>\n<p>Kenyon sophomore\u00a0<strong>Julia Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>continued to shine, setting the pool and meet record in the 200 breaststroke with a 2:14.95. That time is just three tenths off the 2015 NCAA Title earning time.\u00a0<strong>Katie Kaestner<\/strong>, part two of Kenyon&#8217;s breaststroking duo, touched second in 2:17.97, out touching Denison&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marissa Bednarek <\/strong>(2:17.98).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Halli Garza<\/strong>, the 2015 conference champion in the event, was first to the wall in the 200 butterfly this morning. The sophomore touched in 2:03.56. Teammate\u00a0<strong>Emily Eiben\u00a0<\/strong>finished third (2:07.96). Kenyon&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mariah Williamson\u00a0<\/strong>fell in between with a 2:04.35.<\/p>\n<p>In the 400 freestyle relay, DePauw claimed the top seed.\u00a0<strong>Caroline Bridges<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mary Woods<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Annie Graves<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Angela Newlon <\/strong>clocked in at 3:32.90. Kenyon&#8217;s B team of\u00a0<strong>Megan Morris<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Fernanda Banic-Martins<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Amelia Loydpierson<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Sally Huizinga\u00a0<\/strong>touched second (3:34.68), just ahead of their A team of\u00a0<strong>Laura Duncan<\/strong>, Ambrosen, Chopp, and\u00a0<strong>Caitlin Foley\u00a0<\/strong>(3:24.87).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Campbell Costley<\/strong>,\u00a0Newlon,\u00a0<strong>Marysol Arce<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Taylor Johns<\/strong> will highlight timed finals 1650 action tonight.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Denison junior\u00a0<strong>Jack Lindell\u00a0<\/strong>set himself up to win his third conference title of the weekend, claiming the top seed in the 200 backstroke (1:49.56). Teammate <strong>Jason Wessling\u00a0<\/strong>is seeded third (1:51.67).\u00a0Wooster&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Conner Gelwicks\u00a0<\/strong>earned second (1:51.34).<\/p>\n<p>Kenyon earned four and Denison earned three spots in the Championship final of the 100 freestyle. Big Red&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ryan Fleming\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Conrad Wuorinen\u00a0<\/strong>finished in 44.97 and 45.11 for the top two seeds. The Lords&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Percy Gates\u00a0<\/strong>touched third in 45.17.<\/p>\n<p>Wabash senior\u00a0<strong>Zechariah Banks\u00a0<\/strong>is trying to claim his second breaststroke title of the weekend, grabbing the top time of 2:02.69 in the 200 this morning. Kenyon&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Danny Jurgens\u00a0<\/strong>touched second in 2:03.16, while Denison&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jake Ball\u00a0<\/strong>finished third (2:05.23).<\/p>\n<p>Kenyon freshman\u00a0<strong>Jon Zimdars\u00a0<\/strong>finished under the pool record for the top spot in the 200 fly. His time of 1:49.08 was over a second ahead of teammate\u00a0<strong>Matthew Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>(1:50.50). Denison&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mitch Williams\u00a0<\/strong>was just back in third with a 1:50.52.<\/p>\n<p>Denison and Kenyon set themselves up for another huge freestyle relay battle tonight, finishing only two hundredths apart this morning.\u00a0<strong>Matt Leenhouts<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Oscar Anderson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Grant Carr<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Gabriel Bellot-Mcgrath\u00a0<\/strong>prevailed in prelims, stopping the clock at 3:06.16 for Kenyon. Denison&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Joe Brunk<\/strong>, Wesseling,\u00a0<strong>Kenny Fox<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Stuart Hohm\u00a0<\/strong>finished in 3:06.18.
