Four pool and two meet records fell tonight. The Ladies currently lead the Big Red 622 to 583,\u00a0while the Lords trail Denison 653.5\u00a0to 572.5.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Angela Newlon\u00a0<\/strong>improved her own meet and pool records she set this morning, finishing in a final time of 4:48.61. Kenyon freshman\u00a0<strong>Marysol Arce\u00a0<\/strong>stopped the clock at 4:51.74, good for second.\u00a0<strong>Campbell Costley\u00a0<\/strong>finished third (4:52.01). The entire Championship Final finished under the NCAA B cut.<\/p>\n<p>Denison won the 200 freestyle relay, swimming four new swimmers from the morning.\u00a0<strong>Carolyn Kane<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ashley Yearwood<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kate Wright<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Mary Van Leuven\u00a0<\/strong>posted a top time of 1:32.41. Kenyon&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hannah Lobb<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Abby Wilson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Laura Duncan<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Jenner McLeod<\/strong> combined for a 1:32.82. DePauw finished third.\u00a0<strong>Caroline Bridges<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ellen Riehle<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kirsten Olson<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Mary Woods\u00a0<\/strong>swam a 1:35.01. All three teams finished under the NCAA B cut.<\/p>\n<p>While Denison lead the team scoring after the first relay, Kenyon was building a lead by the end of the 200 IM. The Ladies swept the podium in the event. Improving on her impressive morning swim,\u00a0<strong>Julia Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>won the event (2:03.08) just shy of the pool and meet records (2:03.06).\u00a0<strong>Katie Kaestner\u00a0<\/strong>finished second (2:05.37), while teammate\u00a0<strong>Ellie Crawford\u00a0<\/strong>was third (2:06.75).<\/p>\n<p>For the second time today, a pool record was matched.\u00a0Lobb stopped the clock at 23.30 to win the 50 freestyle. The senior&#8217;s time tied\u00a0Kane&#8217;s pool record. Tonight, Kane touched third (23.61), matching her own prelims time.\u00a0Van Leuven finished second (23.44). Denison&#8217;s sprinting depth, with seven swimmers in 27 of the finals spots, brought the Big Red\u00a0closer to the Ladies, 481-429.<\/p>\n<p>Kenyon&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maria<\/strong> <strong>Zarka<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the 2015 one meter NCAA Champion, posted a score of 480.85, a pool and NCAC meet record, to claim the one meter title tonight. Wittenberg&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katie Black\u00a0<\/strong>was second (412.90) while Denison&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emma Webber\u00a0<\/strong>was third (403.35).<\/p>\n<p>The Denison women captured the final event of the night.\u00a0Yearwood,\u00a0<strong>Marissa Bednarek<\/strong>,\u00a0Kane, and Van Leuven captured the 400 medley relay title with a 3:45.38.\u00a0<strong>Caitlin Foley<\/strong>, Wilson, Wilson, and Lobb swam a 3:46.13 to earn second for Kenyon. DePauw was third as\u00a0<strong>Annie Graves<\/strong>, Woods, Newlon, and Bridges posted a 3:51.37.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>The Kenyon men were first to the wall in the 200 freestyle relay.\u00a0<strong>Percy Gates<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ryan Funk<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Joey Duronio<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Austin Pu<\/strong> finished in 1:20.61.\u00a0<strong>Ryan Fleming<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Conrad Wuorinen<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jason Wesseling<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Max Howes\u00a0<\/strong>finished second for Denison (1:21.42). DePauw&#8217;s <strong>Brandon Sholtis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sam Wagner<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sam McManus<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Blake Lehmann\u00a0<\/strong>touched third (1:22.56).<\/p>\n<p>The Big Red men came just short of sweeping the 500 freestyle. Teammates\u00a0<strong>Stuart Hohm\u00a0<\/strong>(4:29.24) and\u00a0<strong>Ben Burdick\u00a0<\/strong>(4:31.54) finished first and second. The Lords&#8217;\u00a0<strong>David Perez\u00a0<\/strong>was third (4:32.02).<\/p>\n<p>In a heat of only Kenyon and Denison swimmers, Denison again took the top two spots in the 200 IM.\u00a0<strong>Jack Lindell\u00a0<\/strong>(1:49.21) was just faster than teammate\u00a0<strong>Joe Brunk<\/strong>&#8216;s meet and pool records (1:49.35). Brunk finished as the runner-up (1:49.75). Kenyon&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Matt Leenhouts\u00a0<\/strong>touched third (1:50.11).<\/p>\n<p>Funk (20.29) sprinted under the pool record (20.36) in the 50 freestyle, to earn his second Conference Title of the evening. His teammate\u00a0Duronio finished third (20.51). Lehmann touched second (20.45).<\/p>\n<p>The Denison men came back to win the final relay of the night. Wesseling,\u00a0<strong>Brendan Howley<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Andrew Rich<\/strong>, and Fleming combined for a time of 3:17.56 to win the 400 medley relay. Kenyon&#8217;s \u00a0<strong>Matthew Cooper<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Danny Jurgens<\/strong>, Funk, and Duronio were a half second back (3:18.26) to finish second. Wooster rounded out the top three.\u00a0<strong>Conner Gelwicks<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Andy Pfeuffer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Zach Pool<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Garrett Layde\u00a0<\/strong>swam a
