With this time, she broke the 2010 NE record of 17.20.43. Teammate <strong>Rachel Lanam<\/strong> came in third going a 17:37.74 and PACE&#8217;s <strong>Madison Kiefer<\/strong> got third (17:33.86).<\/p>\n<p>SCSU&#8217;s <strong>Louis Geist<\/strong> came in first in the men&#8217;s 1650, going 16.05.10. PACE took second and third place. <strong>Daniel Galarza<\/strong> came in second in 16:13.08 and teammate <strong>Brian Sosa<\/strong> came in third with 16:19.19.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 200 backstroke this morning 100 backstroke winner, <strong>Tara O&#8217;Donnell<\/strong> of Le Moyne finished first with a time of 2:03.30. Bentley&#8217;s <strong>Kate Kaduboski<\/strong> bettered her prelims time by a couple of seconds to place second (2:05.82) and Assumption&#8217;s <strong>Niamh Morgan<\/strong> (2:07.51) came in third.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 200 backstroke Southern Connecticut took both first in second place. <strong>Raymond Cswerko<\/strong> won the event with a 1:49.60, and SCSU junior <strong>Raymond Snyder<\/strong> came in second with a 1:52.32. PACE&#8217;s <strong>Brian Sosa<\/strong> snuck into third place with the time of 1:52.81.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 100 freestyle Southern Connecticut&#8217;s <strong>Katie Crochet<\/strong> won the event and bettered her time and NE 10 record with a 51.19. Bentley&#8217;s <strong>Kaitlin McGahie<\/strong> went a 52.72 coming in second and SCSU&#8217;s<strong> Katherine Krajick<\/strong> finished third (53.60).<\/p>\n<p>SCSU&#8217;s sprinter <strong>Brendan Murphy<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 100 freestyle and broke the 2008 NE 10 record of 45.33, touching in first with a 45.51, teammate <strong>Tyler Vander Vos<\/strong> came in second right behind Murphy with a 45.51 and <strong>Nianzhing Liu<\/strong> went a 45.08 for the bronze.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 200 breaststroke it was Bentley&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emily Niemiec<\/strong> who moved up from third to first place in the time of 2:23.18. Saint Rose&#8217;s <strong>Shannon Walsh<\/strong> finished second in a 2:23.57 and Southern Connecticut&#8217;s <strong>Lilly Martin<\/strong> got third (2:24.96).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christopher Curtin<\/strong> of SCSU moved up from this morning bettering his time to a 2:03.87 and taking the gold. PACE&#8217;s <strong>Alexandar Dimcevski<\/strong> finished in second with a 2:04.27 and <strong>Elie McRae<\/strong> came in third right behind him with a 2:04.44.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 200 butterfly Assumption&#8217;s <strong>Rachel Lanam<\/strong> swam her way to first place with the time of 2:07.98. Bentley&#8217;s <strong>Anne Warren<\/strong> went 2:08.39 for second place and SCSU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Aubrey\u00a0Bailey<\/strong> finished third with a 2:08.99.<\/p>\n<p>SCSU came in first and second tonight in the men&#8217;s 200 butterfly. <strong>Dylan Swanepoel<\/strong> took the win for the owls with the time of 1:51.50. <strong>Shane Maypother<\/strong> of Southern Connecticut came in second with a 1:52.55. <strong>Travis May<\/strong> came in right behind Maypother with a time of 1:52.85 for third place.<\/p>\n<p>Southern Connecticut won both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s\u00a0400 freestyle relays and broke NE 10 Conference record to finish up the last session of the meet.<\/p>\n<p>The SCSU women&#8217;s team of <strong>Emily Wolfe<\/strong> (54.17), <strong>Sydney Fromkin<\/strong> (53.08), <strong>Katherine Krajcik<\/strong> (53.24) and <strong>Katie Crochet<\/strong> (50.15) won the event with the time of 3:30.64 breaking the previous NE 10 record of 3:32.04. Bentley came in second (3:32.20) with the team of <strong>Brooke Jameson<\/strong> (54.34), <strong>Kate Kaduboski<\/strong> (53.75), <strong>Emily Niemiec<\/strong> (52.74) and <strong>Kaitlin McGahie<\/strong> (51.37). Le Monye finished right behind with <strong>Tara O&#8217;Donnell<\/strong> (51.67), <strong>Alyssa Baker<\/strong> (53.95), <strong>Sarah Gaffney<\/strong> (54.38) and <strong>Kelsey Smith<\/strong> (52.96) went a 3:32.96.<\/p>\n<p>The Owl&#8217;s men&#8217;s team won the event (3:01.24) with the team of <strong>Brendan Murphy<\/strong> (45.29), Tyler Vander Vos (44.90), <strong>Raymond Snyder<\/strong> (46.54) and <strong>Raymond Cswerko<\/strong> (44.51) who broke the previous record of 3:05.36. PACE&#8217;s team came in second with <strong>Andresious Cyprianos<\/strong> (46.86), <strong>Travis Monahan<\/strong> (47.71), <strong>Dominick Mignano<\/strong> (47.71) and <strong>Nianzhong Liu<\/strong> (45.67) going a 3:05.50. <strong>Cory Knapp<\/strong> (47.47), <strong>Andy Raiola<\/strong> (46.76), <strong>Eric Burdge<\/strong> (47.03) and <strong>Travis May<\/strong> (45.76) of Le Moyne came in third with a 3:07.02.<\/p>\n<p>Women \u2013 Team Rankings \u2013 Final<br \/>\n1.
