A team of\u00a0<strong>Yulduz Kuchkarova, Brynce Hinde, Pia Pavlic,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Haley Bishop\u00a0<\/strong>clocked in a time of 1:43. 96. The Iowa State team of\u00a0<strong>Harper Emsweiler, Kasey Roberts, Kaylee Kucera,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Alex Flatness<\/strong> we second with a time of 1:45.67. Kansas freshman\u00a0<strong>Libby Walker\u00a0<\/strong>continued the Jayhawks&#8217; momentum with a win in the 1000 free (10:17.95). She was followed by junior teammate\u00a0<strong>Lindsay Manning\u00a0<\/strong>(10:29.15) and Cyclone senior\u00a0<strong>Molly McNeal<\/strong> (10:29.40). Another Jayhawk, sophomore\u00a0<strong>Madison Straight<\/strong>, won the 200 free with a time of 1:52.24, ahead of Iowa State sophomore\u00a0<strong>Silqi Luo<\/strong> (1:53.36) and fellow Jayhawk, the senior\u00a0<strong>Haley Molden<\/strong> (1:53.55). Kansas continued its win streak with a 1-2 finish in the 100 back&#8211;juniors Pia Pavlic\u00a0and Yulduz Kucharova were 56.22 and 56.26, respectively. Iowa State&#8217;s senior\u00a0<strong>Marissa Engel<\/strong> was third (57.60).<\/p>\n<p>Iowa State sophomore Kasey Roberts grabbed the fist Cyclone victory of the meet with a 1:04.15 in the 100 breast. She was followed by Kansas senior Hinde (1:04.60) and Iowa State sophomore\u00a0<strong>Danica Delaquis\u00a0<\/strong>(1:05.31). Libby Walker then grabbed a second individual win of the meet with her 2:04.03 in the 200 fly. Her senior teammate\u00a0<strong>Chelsie Miller\u00a0<\/strong>was second (2:04.50) and Iowa State sophomore\u00a0<strong>Mary Kate Luddy\u00a0<\/strong>was third (2:06.43). A pair of Kansas freshman, Haley Bishop and\u00a0<strong>Brionna Barker<\/strong>, finished in the top two spots in the 50 free with times of 23.22 and 24.18, respectively. The Iowa State junior\u00a0<strong>Maddie Rastall<\/strong> finished in third with a time of 24.36.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of day one, with the Iowa State divers\u00a0<strong>Elyse Brouillette, Julie Dickinson,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Becky Stochl<\/strong> sweeping the 3-meter diving competition, Kansas led the competition with a score of 90.5-59.5.<\/p>\n<p>Day 1 Results: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2016-kansas-vs-iowa-state-day-1-day-1\/ncaa-college\/2016\/February\/5\">2016 Kansas vs. Iowa State Day 1 &#8211; Results<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Day 2:<\/h2>\n<p>Day two started off with a win in the 100 free for Kansas&#8217; Barker (51.95). She was followed in the event by Iowa State&#8217; Luo (53.10) and Kansas sophomore\u00a0<strong>Hannah Driscoll<\/strong> (53.38). Iowa State&#8217;s senior Engel then claimed the 200 back with a 2:02.92. A pair of Jayhawks followed&#8211;Kuchkarova was second with a 2:03.60 and Straight was third with a 2:04.43.<\/p>\n<p>Iowa State&#8217;s Kasey Roberts solidified her breaststroke dominance with a win in the 200 breast (2:18.89). She was followed by Kansas&#8217; Hinde (2:21.70) and junior\u00a0<strong>Gretchen Pocisk<\/strong> (2:22.94). Kansas&#8217; Chelsie Miller then won the 500 free with a time of 5:00.67, followed by teammate Walker (5:01.15). Iowa State&#8217;s Luddy was third (5:03.91). Kansas swept the 100 fly with Haley Bishop winning (55.62), Pavlic grabbing second (56.18), and junior\u00a0<strong>Leah Pfizer\u00a0<\/strong>was third (58.74). Roberts tripled with a win in the 200 IM (2:04.52). She was followed by Pavlic (2:07.52) and Iowa State&#8217;s Engel (2:07.65).<\/p>\n<p>The Kansas team of Bishop, Molden, Barker, and Kuchkarova won the 400 free relay with a time of 3:29.46. The Iowa State team of\u00a0<strong>Savanna Townsend,\u00a0<\/strong>Luddy,\u00a0<strong>Brooke Evensen,<\/strong> and Luo was second with a time of 3:32.49.
