Assumption&#8217;s <strong>Niamh Morgan<\/strong> (2:06.76) came in second and Bentley&#8217;s <strong>Kate Kaduboski<\/strong> (2:08.11) got third.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 200 backstroke Southern Connecticut&#8217;s <strong>Raymond Cswerko<\/strong> won the event with a 1:52.83,<strong> Tim Connolly<\/strong> of Bentley finished second in a 1:53.64 and SCSU junior <strong>Raymond Snyder<\/strong> came in third (1:54.40)<\/p>\n<p>50 and 200 freestyle Southern Connecticut&#8217;s winner, <strong>Katie Crochet<\/strong> (51.41) touched first in the women&#8217;s 100 freestyle prelims this morning. With this time, Crochet broke her own 2015 record of 51.89. Bentley&#8217;s <strong>Kaitlin McGahie<\/strong> went a 53.32 coming in second and <strong>Kaitlyn Fitzgerald<\/strong> of PACE touched right behind her in a 53.66.<\/p>\n<p>The top three of the men&#8217;s 100 freestyle all went 46 seconds this morning. SCSU&#8217;s sprinter <strong>Brendan Murphy<\/strong> touched first with a 46.50, teammate <strong>Tyler Vander Vos<\/strong> came in second (46.67) and <strong>Nianzhing Liu<\/strong> went a 46.78 for third.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 200 breast Saint Rose&#8217;s <strong>Shannon Walsh<\/strong> (2:26.04) out touched PACE&#8217;s <strong>Cassandra Muldoon<\/strong> (2:26.08) who finished second and <strong>Emily Niemiec<\/strong> (2:26.24) who got third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elie McRae<\/strong> also won the men&#8217;s 200 breast for St. Rose this morning. He touched first in a 2:05.88, <strong>Christopher Curtin<\/strong> of SCSU came in second (2:06.85) and PACE&#8217;s <strong>Alexandar Dimcevski<\/strong> finished in third (2:09.46).<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 200 butterfly this morning SCSU&#8217;s <strong>Aubery Bailey<\/strong> finished first in 2:09.14, out touching Bentley&#8217;s <strong>Anne Warren<\/strong> (2:09.19). Assumption&#8217;s <strong>Rachel Lanam<\/strong> came in third with a 2:09.82.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shane Maypother<\/strong> of Southern Connecticut is going in seeded first tonight in the men&#8217;s 200 butterfly with a time of 1:53.33. Yesterday&#8217;s 100 fly winner from Le Moyne, <strong>Travis May<\/strong> came in right behind Maypother with a time of 1:53.43 and one one hundredth behind him was SCSU&#8217;s <strong>Dylan Swanepoel<\/strong> came in third (1:53.44).<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s and women heats of the 1650 freestyle will be swum later today as a finals only event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Delaney Lanker, Swimming World College Intern The final day of the Northeast 10 Conference Championships started off strong this morning.
