SEVERAL divers moved into position to earn a spot on the USA Diving Olympic roster during semifinal action in the women&#39;s three-meter and men&#39;s tower disciplines at the USA Diving Olympic Trials held at the IU Natatorium at IUPUI.<\/p>\n<p>Christina Loukas of Indiana Diving put herself in a strong position to be USA Diving&#39;s first women&#39;s three-meter individual representative as she tore through both the preliminary and semifinal rounds.  She topped the field by nearly 50 points with 729.85 points over the two rounds.  Nancilea Foster of The Woodlands stood second after semis with 681.40 points, while Ariel Rittenhouse had 650.30 points for third.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;[Christina] really did very well today,&quot; Indiana head coach Dr. Jeff Huber told Indiana Media Relations. &quot;Her first list was good and her second list was even better. There is still a long way to go as everyone is really stepping up here. Christina just needs to focus and not worry about anything but the process of competing. We are exactly where we want to be, but we still have one day to go.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Finals will take place, along with the men&#39;s three-meter event, on Saturday at 3 p.m.  NBC will televise the event from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>For the men, David Boudia was lights out in the tower semifinal round en route to a 1,091.90-point tally.  He finished nearly 30 points ahead of Thomas Finchum, who notched a total of 1,065.25 for second heading into finals.
