THE first night of diving at the USA Diving Olympic Trials featured preliminary competition in the men&#39;s and women&#39;s tower events.<\/p>\n<p>Laura Wilkinson topped the women&#39;s rounds with a tally of 362 points, while youngster Haley Ishimatsu placed just behind with a 360.70 for second.  Wilkinson&#39;s teammate at The Woodlands finished third with 358.40 points. <\/p>\n<p>David Boudia had the best total for the men&#39;s preliminary rounds with a tally of 572.65 points.  Thomas Finchum placed second with 523.95 points, while Drew Livingston took third with 466.55 points.  <\/p>\n<p>Finals of the individual tower competition will take place on Sunday, June 22.
