It is also about training the brain to make sure that what you do correctly is imprinted in a way that helps you reproduce these perfect skills without having to think about them. It involves critical thinking and exploring new ways to achieve new skills. Our camps have everything you need to take your swimming to the next level including underwater filming, stroke video analysis, mental preparation, team and character building, motivational speaking, race day preparation, training and conditioning and world class instruction for stroke development, starts and turns.<\/p>\n<p>We have space and time to accommodate athletes of all levels and will group them accordingly. We cover every stroke discipline and all skills used by our SEC and NCAA Champions to compete at a higher level. We also provide workouts for elite athletes so you will maintain fitness levels while you are away from your club.<\/p>\n<p>Camps are offered each week for four consecutive weeks beginning May 31st and are open to any and all participants age 9 and up. Remember, this is not a learn to swim program so please make sure campers are proficient in all four stroke disciplines. One thing that Pursley has learned over the years is that the secret to success in any endeavor is to surround yourself with the best people you can. To that end, he has built a staff in Tuscaloosa that includes some of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alabamaswimcamp.com\/coaching-staff.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">best coaches in the country<\/a>, including former world record holder and Alabama NCAA champion Jonty Skinner, who has developed into one of the top sports science coaches in the world, and Pat Greenwell, the most decorated diving coach in Southeastern Conference history.
