HAMILTON SQUARE, New Jersey, June 6. ACCORDING to NJ.com<\/i>, longtime New Jersey swim coach Jeffrey Lowe has passed away at the age of 61.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey R. Lowe, 61, died Tuesday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n
Born and raised in Rocky Hill, he was an area resident most of his life. Jeffrey graduated from Princeton High School class of 1964. He graduated from East Carolina University with his degree in Social Studies. Jeffrey was most recently employed as a college advisor at Princeton High School. He had also been a salesman for Capital Printing Company in Middlesex and a futures trader on the New York Stock Exchange. He was also a former director of college counseling at The Peddie School. <\/p>\n
He had been a swim coach at the Princeton Aquatic Club, The Peddie School, Hamilton Aquatic Club, Nottingham High School, Rider University and the Eastern Express U.S. Swim Club. He coached swimmers to national and Olympic qualifying status. He was a member of the Princeton Regional Scholarship Foundation, Friends of Princeton Athletics Hall of Fame, the United States Flag Football Association and a former member of the Princeton Lion's Club. <\/p>\n
He was an avid Red Sox fan and deeply loved his beloved dog Madison who passed away. Son of the late Catherine Hoffman Lowe, he is survived by his two daughters, Lindsay Lowe-Lopez and her husband Jose, and Molly Lowe and her fiance Brian Rooney; his granddaughters Catherine and Mia Lowe-Lopez; his father and stepmother Wilbur and Jean Lowe; his brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Jane Lowe; his former wife Marta Lowe, with whom he was very close to; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. <\/p>\n
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, with the Rev. Richard Kauffman officiating. Burial will be private. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. <\/p>\n
In addition to these arrangements, a memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Monday at the Tregoe-Biancaniso Performing Arts Center at Princeton High School.
