PHOENIX, Arizona, June 2. LAST week, Swimming World<\/i> began asking its readers what they thought USA Swimming should do regarding the short pool controversy at the Texas Senior Circuit meet held in College Station.<\/p>\n

We asked the following question:<\/p>\n

What should USA Swimming do with the times records at the Texas Senior Circuit meet where the pool measured .03 meters short?<\/b><\/p>\n

In one of the biggest margins of victory in a poll on our site, adjusting the times received 72.85 percent of the vote. Meanwhile, throwing the times out earned 27.15 percent of the vote.<\/p>\n

USA Swimming, however, will likely throw a curveball and do some type of solution with a little of both<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A Rules and Regulations committee meeting decided to ask Mark Schubert to let those with first time cuts for the Olympic Trials, Junior Nationals, Nationals and U.S. Open to be eligible for a minimum qualifying standard inclusion at those meets.
