OMAHA, Nebraska, May 30. THANKS to USA Swimming for providing images of the competition pool being filled at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb. <\/p>\n
The Omaha Fire Department began filling the competition pool at the Qwest Center today. The pool will be filled with 1.1 million gallons of water and will take about 14 hours to fill completely.<\/p>\n
The images from USA Swimming are located in a slideshow to the right.<\/p>\n
The U.S. Olympic Trials will take place June 29 through July 6 with preliminary sessions beginning each day at 11 a.m. and finals beginning around 6:45 p.m. each evening with specific start times based on television needs.<\/p>\n
