The Tigers improved their record to 12-1.<\/p>\n<p>LSU defeated Houston by a score of 224-129, Rice 280-67 and Tulane 266-87.<\/p>\n<p>The Tigers started off the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay. Backstroker\u00a0<strong>Haylee Knight<\/strong>, breaststroker\u00a0<strong>Colleen O&#8217;Neil,\u00a0<\/strong>butterflier\u00a0<strong>Leah Troskot\u00a0<\/strong>and freestyler\u00a0<strong>Danielle Stirrat\u00a0<\/strong>posted a time of 1:42.94.<\/p>\n<p>The Tigers were led by\u00a0<strong>Megan Cox.\u00a0<\/strong>The senior took home two relay wins and also finished first in the 100-yard butterfly (55.34) and 200-yard butterfly (1:59.38).<\/p>\n<p>Troskot picked up an individual victory in the 50-yard freestyle (23.30) and also helped the Tigers to victory in all four relays.<\/p>\n<p>In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Troscot was joined by Stirrat, Knight and Cox. The team touched in 3:23.64.<\/p>\n<p>Coming off\u00a0a win in the 200-yard medley relay, O&#8217;Neil won the 200-yard individual medley. She touched with a time of 2:01.98.<\/p>\n<p>In the 400-yard medley relay, the Tigers used the same swimmers that they did in the 200-yard race. However, LSU\u00a0switched up who swam what stroke. In the 400, Stirrat swam backstroke, Knight swam butterfly and Troskot was the freestyler. The team won with a time of 3:44.74.<\/p>\n<p>The meet ended with the 200-yard freestyle relay. LSU\u00a0used the same team as the 400-yard freestyle relay. The team posted a time of 1:33.42. Cox led the way with a split of 23.01.<\/p>\n<p>The Tigers next compete on Feb. 16 in Columbia, Missouri at Southeastern Conference Championships.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was some great racing over the course of the past two days,\u201d swimming coach Dave Geyer said in a press release. \u201cWhen you start to hit rest cycles, you have a squad that can be all over the place physically.
