The Wildcat men won 195-100 and the women defeated Cincinnati 210-84.<\/p>\n<p>Kentucky took the top two spots in the women&#8217;s 200-yard medley relay. The Wildcat team of backstroker\u00a0<strong>Danielle Galyer,\u00a0<\/strong>breaststroker\u00a0<strong>Kendra Crew,\u00a0<\/strong>butterflier\u00a0<strong>Bridgette Alexander\u00a0<\/strong>and freestyler\u00a0<strong>Geena Freriks\u00a0<\/strong>took first with a time of 1:44.34.<\/p>\n<p>Kentucky also picked up the win in the men&#8217;s race. Backstroker\u00a0<strong>Walker Thaning,\u00a0<\/strong>breaststroker\u00a0<strong>George Greenhalgh,\u00a0<\/strong>butterflier\u00a0<strong>Kyle Higgins\u00a0<\/strong>and freestyler\u00a0<strong>Cobe Garcia\u00a0<\/strong>teamed\u00a0up to take the race with a time of 1:29.75.<\/p>\n<p>Crew, Freriks and\u00a0<strong>Rebecca Hamperian\u00a0<\/strong>each scored 18 individual points for the Wildcats. Crew took first place in the 100 (1:04.47) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:17.81) and Freriks won both the 50 (23.96) and 100-yard freestyle (51.74). Hamperian won both the one and three-meter diving competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Greenhalgh led the way for the Kentucky men. After helping Kentucky to a win in the 200-yard medley relay, the senior touched first in both the 100 (55.37) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:02.54).<\/p>\n<p>The day ended with the 200-yard freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<p>Kentucky posted the fastest time in the women&#8217;s race, touching the wall in 1:36.71. The Wildcat team consisted of Galyer, Freriks,\u00a0<strong>Haley McInerny\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Erin Hart.\u00a0<\/strong>The Wildcats swam their relays as exhibition teams, so Cincinnati was technically given the victory in the race.<\/p>\n<p>The same thing happened in the men&#8217;s relay. Kentucky touch first, though swam exhibition.
