HOW is Dara Torres like a cat? Is there an elite swimmer out there who is like a dog? And, how can Janet Evans be a cat and a dog? Swimming guru Bill Boomer talks to <i>Swimming World Radio<\/i> on page 31 of the May issue of <i>Swimming World Magazine<\/i> about what it means to be a dog and a cat in the swimming community.<\/p>\n<p>Essentially, a cat might be prone to quick bursts of speed and is also psychologically attuned to its body. A dog, on the other hand, responds to large amounts of training and is able to swim through fatigue.
