href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/katinka-hosszu-sets-fastest-january-200-im-ever-at-ffn-golden-tour-stop\/\" target=\"_blank\">a day after crushing the 200 IM<\/a>, won the women&#8217;s 200-meter free and failed to podium in anything else on day three of the 2016 FFN Golden Tour.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu, who has made a brand of swimming a lot of events at meets and winning them, had a bit of a hiccup from her typical event setup this weekend. \u00a0Hosszu usually comes into a sparsely-contested meet like this and runs off 10 wins.<\/p>\n<p>She started off fairly well with four wins on distance day one, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/katinka-hosszu-cruises-to-4-wins-in-day-one-of-sparsely-attended-ffn-golden-tour-stop\/\" target=\"_blank\">winning the 800 and 1500 free as well as the 400 IM and the 50 back against very small fields<\/a>. \u00a0Day two, she still managed to blaze her way through the 200 IM with a January-best time, but wound up scratching from several events in order to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Hosszu\u00a0clocked a 1:56.31 for the win in the women&#8217;s 200-meter free. \u00a0That&#8217;s about a second off her top time last year of 1:55.41 that ranked her fifth in the world. \u00a0<strong>Charlotte Bonnet<\/strong> took second in 1:57.73 with <strong>Coralie Balmy<\/strong> earning third in 1:57.75.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu then finished a disappointing fifth in the women&#8217;s 100-meter back with a time of 1:04.38 after qualifying first in 1:02.71. \u00a0<strong>Pauline Mahieu<\/strong> won in 1:01.51 with <strong>Theodora Drakou<\/strong> taking second in 1:02.02. <strong>Mathilde Cini<\/strong> snared third in 1:02.47.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lara Grangeon\u00a0<\/strong>blasted her way to a 2:09.26 to smoke the women&#8217;s 200-meter fly field that included Hosszu. \u00a0Hosszu took a distant sixth in 2:18.07 in what is typically one of her top events. \u00a0<strong>Katerine Savard<\/strong> (2:13.05) and <strong>Aurora Petronio<\/strong> (2:13.85) wound up second and third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fanny Deberghes<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 200-meter breast with a time of 2:29.74. \u00a0Hosszu placed fifth in 2:37.05. \u00a0<strong>Adeline Martin<\/strong> (2:31.09) and <strong>Camille Dauba<\/strong> (2:33.41) picked up second and third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anna Santamans<\/strong> topped the women&#8217;s 50-meter free in 25.02. \u00a0<strong>Melanie Henique<\/strong> took second in 25.39 with <strong>Theodora Drakou<\/strong> earning third in 25.42. \u00a0Hosszu took fourth in 25.60.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marco Koch<\/strong> cranked out a 1:01.62 to win the men&#8217;s 100-meter breast. \u00a0<strong>Theo Bussiere<\/strong> finished second in 1:02.54 with <strong>Demir Atasoy<\/strong> claiming third in 1:02.86.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeremy Stravius<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 100-meter free in a time of 48.89. \u00a0That&#8217;s just half-a-second off his 14th-ranked season best of 48.34 from last year. \u00a0<strong>Mehdy Metella<\/strong> took second in 49.37 with <strong>Fabien Gilot<\/strong> earning third in 49.91.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philip Heintz<\/strong> topped the men&#8217;s 200-meter IM in 1:59.87. \u00a0<strong>Andreas Vazaios<\/strong> placed second in 2:01.54 with <strong>Raphael Stacchiotti<\/strong> earning third in 2:01.93.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dimitriou Dimitrios<\/strong> captured the men&#8217;s 400-meter free in 3:53.51 with <strong>Ahmed Mathlouthi<\/strong> taking second in 3:54.33. \u00a0<strong>Damien Joly<\/strong> wound up third in 3:55.38.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ben Stasiulis<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 200-meter back in 2:00.55. <strong>Christou Apostolos<\/strong> finished second in 2:00.95 with <strong>Oleg Garasymovytch<\/strong> claiming third in 2:02.45.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mehdy Metella<\/strong> snared the men&#8217;s 100-meter fly in 53.24. \u00a0<strong>Philip Heintz<\/strong> (53.56) and <strong>Jordan Coelho<\/strong> (53.81) completed the top three.<\/p>\n<p><a
