Unfortunately for the Wildcats, the Cardinals were too much to handle. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Louisville won the men\u2019s meet 200-100 and the women\u2019s meet 190-110. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The day started with the women\u2019s 200-yard medley relay. The Cardinals took first and second in the race. Backstroker <\/span><b>Alina Kendzior, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">breaststroker <\/span><b>Andrea Cottrell, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">butterflier <\/span><b>Kelsi Worrell <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and freestyle <\/span><b>Andrea Kneppers <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">posted a winning time of 1:39.10. Kentucky\u2019s fastest team finished over five second behind the top Louisville squad. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Cardinals also took the top two spots in the men\u2019s relay. Backstroker <\/span><b>Grigory Tarasevich, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">breaststroker <\/span><b>Carlos Claverie, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">butterflier <\/span><b>Josh Quallen <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and freestyler <\/span><b>David Boland <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">posted a winning time of 1:27.55. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the women\u2019s side, Kentucky was led by <\/span><b>Rebecca Hamperian. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The junior scored 18 points and won both the one and three-meter diving competition. <\/span><b>Danielle Galyer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">also had a strong meet for the Wildcats, winning the 200-yard backstroke (1:57.18) and finishing second in the 100-yard event (54.97). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Drew Aviotti <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">had a strong day for the Wildcat men. The junior posted a time of 9:17.30 in the 1000-yard freestyle, winning the race. He also was second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:33.43). <\/span><b>Seb Masterson <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">also helped Kentucky, winning the three-meter diving event. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mallory Comerford <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">had a strong showing for the Louisville women. The freshman won the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.74), 50-yard freestyle (23.28) and finished second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:53.35). She scored 22 individual points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Trevor Carroll <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">won three events for the Cardinal men. He placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.84), 50-yard freestyle (20.06) and 500-yard freestyle (4:28.97).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The day ended with the 400-yard freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Louisville took the women\u2019s race with a time of 3:23.46. The Cardinal team consisted of Comerford, Worrell, <\/span><b>Abbie Houck <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and Cottrell. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the men\u2019s race, the Cardinals team of Boland, Carroll.
