Both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams won by a score of 175-125 over North Carolina-Wilmington, Queens and Wingate. The men and women teams are both 4-3 on the year. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meet started with the 200-yard freestyle relay. South Carolina won the women\u2019s race with a time of 1:35.17. The Gamecock team consisted of <\/span><b>Meredith Vay, Mckenna Keith, Taylor Vincent <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Caroline Petrone. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Queens took the men\u2019s relay with a time of 1:23.10. The winning team consisted of Dutch Olympian <\/span><b>Dion Dreesens, Ben Taylor, Zach Phelps <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Ben Mayes. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The South Carolina men were led by <\/span><b>Nils Wich-Glasen. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sophomore helped the Gamecocks to wins in the 200-yard medley relay (1:30.81) and 400-yard medley relay (3:19.29). He also won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 55.38 and finished second to Dreesens in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.55).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Gamecocks also had strong diving at the meet. <\/span><b>Julia Vincent <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">won both the women\u2019s one-meter and three-meter competitions. On the men\u2019s side, <\/span><b>Jordan Gotro <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">swept two diving events for South Carolina. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Emma Barksdale <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">had a strong meet for the South Carolina women. The freshman won the 200-yard individual medley (2:03.65), 200-yard breaststroke (2:19.03) and 400-yard individual medley (4:20.58).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dreesens led the Queens team. He won the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.32) and was also a member of the winning 200 and 400-yard freestyle relay teams.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meet ended with the 400-yard freestyle relay. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Queens took the women\u2019s race with a time of 3:27.71. Their team consisted of <\/span><b>Caroline Arakelian, Kyrie Dobson, McKenzie Stevens <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Shelly Prayson. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dreesens led the Royals in the men\u2019s event. He teamed up with Taylor, <\/span><b>Nick Arakelian <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and Mayes to post a winning time of 3:00.69.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>South Carolina is back in action on Jan. 30.
