Hungary&#8217;s <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> posted the fastest January 200-meter IM ever.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/katinka-hosszu-cruises-to-4-wins-in-day-one-of-sparsely-attended-ffn-golden-tour-stop\/\" target=\"_blank\">who cruised to four wins yesterday against some inferior competition<\/a>, made the clock her primary foe in the 200 IM with a 2:08.20.<\/p>\n<p>That swim smashed the previous record for a women&#8217;s 200-meter IM in January previously held by <strong>Ye Shiwen<\/strong> with a 2:09.67 at the 2013 BHP Aquatic Super Series.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Hosszu&#8217;s time is among the top 15 ever with Hosszu now owning 7 of the top 15 times all time, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/katinka-hosszu-stuns-takes-down-techsuited-world-record-in-200-im-at-2015-fina-world-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\">including her shocking world record of 2:06.12 from last summer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu did have to put down her Iron Lady crown for the day to put up such a time as she scratched the bulk of her other swims on day 2 after a full schedule yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evelyn Verraszto<\/strong> placed second tonight in 2:17.50 with <strong>Cyrielle Duhamel<\/strong> taking third in 2:20.12.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu then doubled up with a 2:09.65 in the women&#8217;s 200-meter back. \u00a0That&#8217;s well off <strong>Madison Wilson&#8217;s<\/strong> record for a 200 back in January. \u00a0She posted a 2:07.18 at the Victorian Open this week, which broke <strong>Missy Franklin&#8217;s<\/strong> record of 2:07.31 from the 2013 Austin stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Camille Gheorghiu<\/strong> took second in 2:13.57 with <strong>Pauline Mahieu<\/strong> placing third in 2:16.54.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marco Koch<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/marco-koch-bests-competition-in-200-breast-in-finals-at-2015-fina-world-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\">the top-ranked swimmer in the world last year with a 2:07.76 at Worlds<\/a>, captured the men&#8217;s 200-meter breast in 2:09.37.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s also the top 200 breast time ever in January. \u00a0The previous record stood at 2:09.78 by <strong>Laurent Carnol<\/strong> at the 2012 Luxembourg Euro Meet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>William Debourges<\/strong> placed second in 2:15.24 with <strong>Quentin Coton<\/strong> earning third in 2:17.80.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Camille Lacourt<\/strong>, who ranked third in the world last year with a 52.48 at Worlds, clipped <strong>Ben Stasiulis<\/strong> in the men&#8217;s 100-meter back with a 54.82. \u00a0Stasiulis took second in 54.92. \u00a0<strong>Christou Apostolos<\/strong> snared third in 55.24.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeremy Stravius<\/strong> topped the men&#8217;s 200-meter free in a time of 1:47.68 with <strong>Andreas Vazaios<\/strong> snared second in 1:49.73. \u00a0<strong>Lorys Bourelly<\/strong> picked up third in 1:50.10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adeline Martin<\/strong> touched out <strong>Fanny Deberghes<\/strong>, 1:10.91 to 1:10.92, in the women&#8217;s 100-meter breast. \u00a0<strong>Adeline Williams<\/strong> claimed third in 1:11.17.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jordan Coelho<\/strong> captured the men&#8217;s 200-meter fly title in 1:57.41, while <strong>David Verraszto<\/strong> took second in 2:01.88. \u00a0<strong>Paul Lemaire<\/strong> wound up third in 2:03.38.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coralie Balmy<\/strong> turned in a 4:05.45 to win the women&#8217;s 400-meter free. \u00a0<strong>Charlotte Bonnet<\/strong> took second in 4:15.88 with <strong>Lara Grangeon<\/strong> earning third in 4:15.97.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Florent Manaudou<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 50-meter free in 21.72 with <strong>Fred Bousquet<\/strong> taking second in 22.36. \u00a0Stravius wound up third in 22.60.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katerine Savard<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 100-meter fly in 58.48 with <strong>Anna Ntountounaki<\/strong> placing second in 58.89. <strong>Marie Wattel<\/strong> put up a third-placed time of 59.49.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlotte Bonnet<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 100-meter free in 54.62. \u00a0Savard took second in 55.32 with
