The Missouri Tigers (No. 13 men, No. 19 women) did not have trouble with Drury University, a Division-II powerhouse (No. 6 men, No. 3 women). <\/span><\/p>\n

Though junior <\/span>Michael Chadwick <\/b>did not swim at the meet, the Tiger men won by a score of 143-97. The Missouri women downed the Panthers 185-56. <\/span><\/p>\n

The day started off strong for the Tigers. In the women\u2019s 200-yard medley relay, the team of backstroker <\/span>Nadine Laemmler, <\/b>breaststroker <\/span>Abby Duncan, <\/b>butterflier <\/span>Maddie Gehrke <\/b>and freestyler <\/span>Iliana Jones <\/b>posted a time of 1:42.09. The Tigers also took second in the race. Drury\u2019s top relay touched in 1:47.47, over five seconds behind Missouri\u2019s winning relay. <\/span><\/p>\n

Missouri\u2019s top relay team beat the Panthers by nearly two second in the men\u2019s 200-yard medley relay, touching in 1:29.59. The winning team consisted of backstroker <\/span>Dillon Love, <\/b>breaststroker <\/span>Fabian Schwingenschlogl, <\/b>butterflier <\/span>Andrew Sansoucie <\/b>and freestyler <\/span>Matthew Margritier.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Tiger women were led by <\/span>Kira Zubar<\/b>. The sophomore finished first in both the 1000 (10:11.35) and 500-yard freestyle (5:00.29) events. In diving, <\/span>Madeline McKernan <\/b>helped the Tigers by winning the 3-meter event (300.15). She also was second in the 1-meter competition (287.75). <\/span><\/p>\n

Diver <\/span>Clark Thomas <\/b>led the way for the Missouri men, sweeping the two diving events. Thomas posted a score of 382.15 in the 1-meter competition and 378.15 in the 3-meter event. Junior <\/span>Nick Davis <\/b>also had a strong day, finishing first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:37.75) and second in the 1000-yard race (9:33.17). <\/span><\/p>\n

Drury\u2019s <\/span>Wen Xu <\/b>led the Panthers women, picking up wins in both sprint freestyle events. Xu posted times of 22.91 in the 50-yard freestyle and 49.88 in the 100-yard event. <\/span>Daniel Rzadkowski <\/b>had a strong day for the Panther men, winning both the 100 (43.99) and 200-yard freestyle (137.62). <\/span><\/p>\n

The meet ended with the men\u2019s and women\u2019s 200-yard freestyle relays. The Missouri team of <\/span>Hannah Stevens, Rachel Hayden, Victoria Trost <\/b>and <\/span>Anna Patterson <\/b>took the women\u2019s race, posting a time of 1:35.14.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drury placed first in the men\u2019s relay. The team of Rzadkowski, <\/span>Aaron Buckingham, Walter Ross <\/b>and <\/span>Rodrigo Caceres <\/b>touched in 1:20.88.<\/span><\/p>\n
