DePauw beat Calvin 141 to 101.<\/p>\n<p>Chicago got off to a quick start as the team of\u00a0<strong>Melissa Bischoff<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Christina Cheng<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Daria Wick<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Naomy Grand&#8217;Pierre<\/strong> clocked a swift 1:49.00 in the 200 medley relay.<\/p>\n<p>DePauw&#8217;s distance star\u00a0<strong>Angela Newlon\u00a0<\/strong>posted an astounding 10:08.82 in the 1000, six seconds faster than any other swimmer in Division 3 this season.\u00a0She was also dominant in the 500, stopping the clock in 4:59.71. Both swims broke her own DePauw pool records.<\/p>\n<p>Newlon&#8217;s teammate\u00a0<strong>Caroline Bridges\u00a0<\/strong>sprinted to a 50 freestyle win with her time of 24.60.\u00a0<strong>Kirsten Olson\u00a0<\/strong>claimed the 200 backstroke (2:09.74).<\/p>\n<p>Chicago had a number of swimmers claim individual wins.\u00a0<strong>Maya Scheidl<\/strong> won the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:55.10 and the 100 with a 53.63. Her teammate\u00a0<strong>Alison Wall<\/strong> topped the 200 IM (2:10.46). The 200 butterfly went to\u00a0<strong>Ciara Hu<\/strong> (2:09.80). Cheng was first to the wall in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:31.47.<\/p>\n<p>On the boards, Chicago&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Natalie Demuro\u00a0<\/strong>scored 248.40 points for the one meter title. Her teammate,\u00a0<strong>Anna Girlich\u00a0<\/strong>earned 273.80 points on the three meter.<\/p>\n<p>Chicago also captured the 400 freestyle relay as Wall, Grand&#8217;Pierre, Scheidl, and Wick stopped the clock in 3:36.85.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet:<\/h2>\n<p>The University of Chicago men also left DePauw with two wins. The team topped DePauw 125-105 and Calvin 125-112. DePauw fell to Calvin 90-147.<\/p>\n<p>Calvin&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ben Holstege<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Johnson Cochran<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Brett Stoughton<\/strong>, and <strong>Jared Britton\u00a0<\/strong>raced to a time of 1:35.16 to win the 200 medley relay.<\/p>\n<p>Chicago&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Michael Todd\u00a0<\/strong>won the 1000 by 20 seconds (9:53.60). His teammate\u00a0<strong>Alexander Farrell\u00a0<\/strong>stopped the clock in 21.27 seconds to win the 50 freestyle and 47.43 seconds to take the 100.\u00a0<strong>David Farr\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.34) out touched teammate\u00a0<strong>Kevin Ku\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.97) to win the 200 IM. Chicago also won the 100 backstroke as\u00a0<strong>Winston Wang\u00a0<\/strong>raced to a time of 53.07.<\/p>\n<p>DePauw&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alex Grissom\u00a0<\/strong>claimed the 200 freestyle (1:43.69). He went on to win the 500 freestyle (4:45.15). His teammate\u00a0<strong>Blake Lehmann\u00a0<\/strong>was first to the wall in the 100 butterfly (50.27).<\/p>\n<p>Calvin&#8217;s Michael<strong> Moentmann\u00a0<\/strong>scored 252.50 points on the one meter board. Chicago&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dan Boures\u00a0<\/strong>took the three meter with a score of 292.70 points.<\/p>\n<p>The 100 breaststroke title went to Calvin&#8217;s Cochran (57.84). Calvin also took the last event of the day as the team of\u00a0<strong>Brandon Muma<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mitch Shroder<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Andrew Kasper<\/strong>, and Britton touched the wall
