However, a number of swims raised eyebrows the past few days. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2>5 Top Takeaways From Southeastern Conference Weekend<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The SEC can compete with the best swimmers in the country. This weekend, a few teams competed at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Austin, Texas. The meet featured\u00a0<\/span><b>Michael Phelps<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <strong>Missy Franklin\u00a0<\/strong>and other world class swimmers.\u00a0At the meet, a number of SEC swimmers made \u2018A\u2019 finals, including Missouri\u2019s <\/span><b>Michael Chadwick <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and Texas A&amp;M\u2019s <\/span><b>Sarah Gibson. <\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Auburn women are dominant. The Tigers, ranked ninth nationally, demolished No. 24 Arkansas. Auburn won 142-95 and were led by <\/span><b>Maddie Cox <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Ashton Ellzey.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The No. 23 Louisiana State women should not be underestimated. The Tigers took down No. 19 Missouri by a score of 164-136. <\/span><b>Kara Kopcso <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">led the way, winning three individual events. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chadwick will be a force for the Tigers at NCAA Championships. The junior picked up two more wins in a Missouri win over LSU, remaining unbeaten in individual events on the season. He currently holds this season\u2019s fastest 100-yard freestyle time. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Vanderbilt women had a hard time against South Carolina. Neither team is ranked, and the Gamecocks beat the Commodores 165-97.
