The Eagles beat the Jumbos 204-164.<\/p>\n<p>The meet began with the team of\u00a0<strong>Josh Williams, McKenzie Cole, David Howard,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Dan Kelly<\/strong> winning the\u00a0200 medley relay with a time of 1:34.41, over two seconds ahead of Tufts.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman <strong>Taylor Cortens<\/strong> won the 200 free (1:44.81) and the 200 back (1:53.35).\u00a0Kelly won the 50 fly (22.58) and 50 free (21.30),\u00a0Cole won the 100 breast (59.26) and 50 breast (26.88), and\u00a0Howard won both the 100 fly (52.89) and 200 fly (1:55.52).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cole Malatesta<\/strong>\u00a0swept both diving events, placing first in the 1m (309.15) and the 3m (295.05).<\/p>\n<p>Other event winners included <strong>Zachary Wallace\u00a0<\/strong>in\u00a0the 200 breast (2:13.82),\u00a0<strong>Anthony Richardson\u00a0<\/strong>in\u00a0the 500 free (4:47.34), and\u00a0<strong>Conor Chamness<\/strong>\u00a0in the 100 free (48.01).<\/p>\n<p>The Eagles return to the pool this Saturday as both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s team compete against Marist.<\/p>\n<p>Full meet results: <a href=\"\/results\/2016-boston-college-vs-tufts-men\/ncaa-college\/2016\/January\/14\" target=\"_blank\">2016 Boston College vs. Tufts (men) &#8211; Results<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Chandler Brandes, ACC Beat Writer Boston College men&#8217;s swimming and diving team hosted Tufts on Thursday.
