{"id":176732,"date":"2016-01-11T13:24:13","date_gmt":"2016-01-11T20:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=176732"},"modified":"2016-01-11T13:24:13","modified_gmt":"2016-01-11T20:24:13","slug":"bisp-swimmer-eing-returns-from-thailand-national-games-with-6-golds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/bisp-swimmer-eing-returns-from-thailand-national-games-with-6-golds\/","title":{"rendered":"BISP Swimmer Eing Returns From Thailand National Games With 6 Golds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a successful first day in the pool, where she won 2 Gold medals, BISP JSA Swim Academy member <strong>Phiangkhwan \u201cEing\u201d Pawapotako<\/strong> won the 100m Back on Day Two of the competition in a time of 65.44; to make it three wins from three events at the Thailand National Games. On Day Three she then won the Women&#8217;s 100m Breaststroke in 1min 12.36.<\/p>\n<p>Having raced 2400m since Sunday, most would have thought that some level of fatigue would have set in by now, but Eing comfortably won the 200m Backstroke just outside of the championship record, finishing in a time of 2min 20.56, shortly followed by a win in the 200m IM, 0.76 inside the Olympic B Qualifying standard.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of a long week of racing, Eing finished off her campaign with a Bronze medal in the Womens 50m Brst in a time of 33.7, bringing her tally to 6 Golds, 1 Bronze and 3 Thailand National Games records.<\/p>\n<p>BISP JSA Swim Academy Head Coach <strong>Simon Jones<\/strong> said<em>, \u201cHaving undertaken a much more consistently higher volume in training over the past few months than previously achieved, Eing is still racing hard despite not being as fresh as previous blocks of work.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cStill, her goals lay firmly on events in April 2016, and this is another opportunity and stepping stone along the way in which she is gaining valuable competition experience preparing to do her very best later in the year.
