Louisville Freshmen Make A Statement<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Mallory Comerford <\/strong>stole the show as Louisville competed against Florida State. The freshman won the 50 free (23.54), the 200 free (1:49.03), and the 500 free (4:51.44), and was a member of the winning 200 free relay and 400 free relay. Fellow freshmen teammates <strong>Rachael Bradford-Feldman<\/strong> won the 200 IM (2:02.56) and the 400 IM (4:16.39), <strong>Alina Kendzio<\/strong> took first in the 100 back (55.50), <strong>Manuela Sampaio<\/strong> won the 200 breast (2:21.27), and <strong>Zach Harting<\/strong> registered the fastest time in the 1000 (9:32.08).<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Florida State Continues Diving Dominance<br \/>\n<\/strong>Freshman <strong>Cassidy Gebhart<\/strong>, already a 2-time ACC Diver of the Week, won the women&#8217;s 3m with a score of 310.65 against Louisville and took second in the 1m (269.63). <strong>Tyler Roberge<\/strong>, another 2-time ACC Diver of the Week for FSU, won the men&#8217;s 1m (330.82) and placed second in the 3m (343.65). <strong>Dylan Grisell<\/strong>, who was awarded ACC Diver of the Week last month,\u00a0dove to first place in the men&#8217;s 3m (376.65) and captured second in the 1m (324.15).<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Fiala Leads Virginia Tech<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Brandon Fiala<\/strong> led Virginia Tech with three individual wins in the 100 breast (55.31), the 200 breast (2:00.64), and the 200 IM (1:49.19). The junior was also a member of the Hokies&#8217;\u00a0winning 400 free relay and\u00a0200 free relay. He led Virginia Tech to victory over Louisiana State and Kentucky.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Duke Remains Undefeated<br \/>\n<\/strong>During the first semester, the Blue Devils were undefeated in dual meet action. With their win over South Carolina, Duke looks to continue this trend heading into 2016. <strong>Mickayla Hinkle<\/strong> and <strong>Maddie Hess<\/strong>\u00a0lead the women, and <strong>Kazumu Takabayashi<\/strong> and <strong>James Peek<\/strong> do the same on the men&#8217;s side.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Smith and Bartholomew Back After Duel in the Pool<br \/>\n<\/strong>Virginia&#8217;s <strong>Leah Smith <\/strong>and <strong>Courtney Bartholomew <\/strong>raced for the first time since competing for Team USA in the\u00a0Duel in the Pool. Smith dominated the distance events against ACC rival Notre Dame, winning the 1000 (9:40.22) and the 500 (4:39.75). Bartholomew, less than one month after breaking the American record in the 100 SCM back, won the 200 IM (1:59.35), the 200 back (1:55.21) and the 100 back (53.07). The No. 1 ranked\u00a0Cavalier women defeated the Fighting Irish 243-105.<\/p>\n<p>Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami, Notre Dame, Pitt, Virginia, and Virginia Tech are all slated to compete this upcoming weekend.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Weekend Coverage<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"\/results\/duke-v-south-carolina\/ncaa-college\/2016\/January\/8\" target=\"_blank\">Duke v.
