The Hurricanes beat the Scarlet Knights 180.5-118.5 and the Jayhawks 178-120.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cameron Davis<\/strong> won the 1000 in 10:20.95 and the 500 free in 5:01.85. <strong>Ksenia Yuskova<\/strong> won the 200 free 1:50.91, with teammate <strong>Julie Suarez<\/strong> taking second in 1:51.06. Miami went 1-2-3 in the 100 free, led by Suarez in 52.56, who also finished second in the 500 free (5:03.03). <strong>Christina Leander<\/strong> grabbed first in the 100 back (55.92) and 200 IM (2:07.15). <strong>Angela Algee<\/strong> won both\u00a0the 200 fly (2:03.83) and 100 fly (54.92), and\u00a0<strong>Marcela Maric<\/strong> dove to first place in the 3m with a score of 296.90. The relay team of Yuskova, <strong>My Fridell<\/strong>, Suarez, and Algee won the 200 free relay in 1:35.39.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe competition we faced today is so important \u2013 a good Big 12 team and a good Big 10 team,\u201d head coach <strong>Andy Kershaw<\/strong> said in a Miami press release. \u201cWe\u2019re doing our part for the ACC. That\u2019s important, and adds to the confidence that we were able to go against two big time schools and perform the way we did. It certainly gives us a great kickoff to this spring.
