{"id":176361,"date":"2016-01-09T20:52:21","date_gmt":"2016-01-10T03:52:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=176361"},"modified":"2016-01-09T20:52:21","modified_gmt":"2016-01-10T03:52:21","slug":"charlotte-webby-kane-radford-double-new-zealand-open-water-championships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/charlotte-webby-kane-radford-double-new-zealand-open-water-championships\/","title":{"rendered":"Charlotte Webby, Kane Radford Double Up at New Zealand Open Water Championships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Kane Radford<\/strong> and <strong>Charlotte Webby<\/strong> made it a double this weekend claiming honours in the 5km New Zealand Open Water Championship at Lake Taupo today.<\/p>\n<p>The pair backed up strong performances from yesterday where they both won the 10km event which also forms part of the Olympic qualifying stages.<\/p>\n<p>It is the fifth consecutive year that Radford (Rotorua) has held both New Zealand Open Water Championship titles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be able to win it that many times in a row is something special,\u201d Radford said. \u201cNow we will just see where it goes and maybe we can build on from there as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just really wanted to go out from the start and just see how I felt.
