The TCNJ and JHU meet was a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/5-top-upcoming-ncaa-division-3-meets-for-the-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\">NCAA D3 Featured Meet of the Week<\/a>. TCNJ beat JHU by a score of\u00a0163.5 to 124.5.<\/p>\n<p>TCNJ topped the Blue Jays in the opening 200 medley relay, finishing in a 1:34.70 ahead of JHU&#8217;s 1:36.41.<\/p>\n<p>JHU claimed the top two spots in the men&#8217;s 1,000.\u00a0<strong>Andrew Greenhalgh <\/strong>was as dominant as expected. He\u00a0claimed the event in a time of 9:36.23 and his teammate\u00a0<strong>Erik Bostrom\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in a 9:45.85.\u00a0<strong>Logan Barnes\u00a0<\/strong>from TCNJ was the third D3 finisher\u00a0in a 10:00.60.<\/p>\n<p>The top D3 finisher in the 200 freestyle was\u00a0JHU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Evan Holder<\/strong> with a second place time of 1:43.43. His teammate\u00a0<strong>John Chu<\/strong> was fourth in 1:44.37. TCNJ&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Scott Vitabile\u00a0<\/strong>was third in 1:43.99.<\/p>\n<p>The Lions&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Alexander Skoog\u00a0<\/strong>claimed the 100 backstroke title in a 53.70. His teammate\u00a0<strong>Dante Colucci<\/strong> was fourth with a time of 54.27. Third went to JHU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emile Kuyl<\/strong> with a 54.20.<\/p>\n<p><strong>James Shangle<\/strong>\u00a0of TCNJ won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 56.45. His teammate\u00a0<strong>Vinnie Masciandaro\u00a0<\/strong>was the third place D3 finisher with his fifth place time of 1:00.79. JHU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Peter Lazorchak\u00a0<\/strong>was third overall with a 1:00.02.<\/p>\n<p>JHU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kyle Otazu\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 butterfly in a time of 1:57.22. His teammate was fourth in a 1:59.70. TCNJ&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Samuel Maquet\u00a0<\/strong>was third overall in a 1:58.98.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joseph Dunn\u00a0<\/strong>of TCNJ sprinted to a time of 21.30 to win the 50 freestyle. Hopkins&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Michael Ashmead\u00a0<\/strong>was the second D3 finisher of the meet in 22.08. TCNJ&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anthony Gurrieri\u00a0<\/strong>was the third D3 swimmer with a 22.16.<\/p>\n<p>TCNJ also won the longer sprint as\u00a0<strong>Scott Vitabile\u00a0<\/strong>finished in a time of 47.52. JHU were the second and third D3 swimmers as\u00a0<strong>John Chu\u00a0<\/strong>finished in a 48.25 and Ashmead posted a time of 48.27.<\/p>\n<p>The Lions&#8217; momentum continued into the 200 backstroke.\u00a0Skoog was the fastest D3 performer with his time of 1:55.54. Nearly five seconds behind him was teammate\u00a0<strong>John Gregory\u00a0<\/strong>with a 2:00.04. Hopkins&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Andrew Gibson\u00a0<\/strong>was just behind in a 2:00.20.<\/p>\n<p>After his 1,000 freestyle win, Greenhalgh was second overall in the 500 in a time of 4:40.90. His teammates Otazu and Bostrom\u00a0were just behind in a times of\u00a04:45.24 and 4:48.15.<\/p>\n<p>TCNJ teammates Dunn and Vitabile were second and third overall in the 100 butterfly finishing in times of 52.25 and 53.49. JHU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Darren Loh\u00a0<\/strong>was less than a tenth behind with a 53.58.<\/p>\n<p>The Blue Jays&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Evan Holder\u00a0<\/strong>won the 400 IM with a 4:07.26. His teammate\u00a0<strong>Emile Kuyl\u00a0<\/strong>was the third D3 finisher with a 4:19.61. TCNJ&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Logan Barnes\u00a0<\/strong>finished in between the two with a 4:15.13.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing off their winning performance, TCNJ topped the 400 freestyle relay by four seconds in a time of 3:08.60.
