After just one meet this past weekend, eight Southeastern Conference teams will be back in action between Jan. 7 and Jan. 9. Many national powerhouses will return to the pool, including Georgia, Auburn and Texas A&M.<\/p>\n

5 Top\u00a0Storylines:<\/h2>\n

  1. How will SEC teams fare against Texas? The Texas men are the defending national champions and are currently ranked first nationally, while the Longhorns women are ranked sixth. Auburn (No. 8 men, No. 10 women) will take on Texas on Thursday and Georgia (No. 3 men, No. 2 women) will swim against the Longhorns on Saturday. <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Who will win the duel between the Texas A&M and Georgia women? The Aggies are ranked fifth nationally and will be a tough test for the Bulldogs. Fans can watch the meet on SEC Network+. <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Alabama and Tennessee should be a close meet for both the men and women. The Crimson Tide men are currently ranked 12th, and the Volunteers are ranked 16th. On the women\u2019s side, Tennessee is 13th and Alabama is 21st. Will either the men\u2019s or women\u2019s underdog be able to pull off an upset? <\/span><\/li>\n
  4. How will big name swimmers do after break? This will be the first time that swimmers like <\/span>Kristian Gkolomeev <\/b>of Alabama, <\/span>Sean Lehane <\/b>of Tennessee, <\/span>Jay Litherland <\/b>of Georgia, <\/span>Olivia Smoliga <\/b>of Georgia and <\/span>Maddie Banic <\/b>of Tennessee will compete in 2016. <\/span><\/li>\n
  5. How will Georgia hold up in back to back meets against strong opponents. The Bulldogs take on Texas A&M on Jan. 8 and Texas the next day. Will the Georgia swimmers be able to swim well both days?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
