Meili posted a time of 58.20 to win the 100-yard breaststroke by over four seconds. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The first event of the night was the 200-yard freestyle. <\/span><b>Karlee Bispo <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">won the women\u2019s event by under two-tenths of a second with a time of 1:45.32. Mission Viejo Nadadors\u2019 <\/span><b>Grant Shoults <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">took the men\u2019s crown with a time of 1:34.72. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After Meili\u2019s dominant showing in the women\u2019s 100-yard breaststroke, the men\u2019s race was much closer. <\/span><b>Brendan McHugh <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">barely beat <\/span><b>Roland Schoeman <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">with a time of 51.62. \u00a0Shoeman touched in 52.17.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the women\u2019s 100-yard butterfly, <\/span><b>Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">brought home first place in 52.13. <\/span><b>Tim Phillips <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">won the men\u2019s event in 46.48, a half second over <\/span><b>Eugene Godsoe.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mason Viejo\u2019s <\/span><b>Jessica Epps <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">took first place in the women\u2019s 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:17.15. <\/span><b>Logan Redondo, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">also from Mason Viejo, won the men\u2019s event in 3:53.21. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mission Viejo continued to roll in the women\u2019s 400-yard freestyle relay. The Nadadores team of Epps, <\/span><b>Andrea Felix, Stephanie Peacock <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>Samantha Shelton<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> won with a time of 3:23.95. Lakeside Aquatic Club finished second with a time of 3:25.10. The team consisted of <\/span><b>Kara Eisenmann, Lauren Pitzer, Samantha Porter <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>Lauren Savoy. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Nadadores also won the men\u2019s relay. The winning team of <\/span><b>Daniel Kim, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shoults, <\/span><b>Logan Redondo <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>Marc Morizono <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">posted a time of 3:02.07. Lakeside Aquatic Club\u2019s team of <\/span><b>Brendan Feehery, Alvin Jiang, Alexander Zettle <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>Ethan Kramer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">took second with a time of 3:05.74. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Day three\u00a0preliminaries begin at 8:30 a.m. Swimmers will compete in the 200-yard individual medley, 50-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke, 100-yard backstroke and 500-yard freestyle.
