USOC Hall of Fame Class of 2008 Public Vote Now Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, February 27. THE United States Olympic Committee (USOC) announced today that public voting has been opened for the Class of 2008.<\/p>\n<p>You can vote for your favorite nominees now at <a href=http:\/\/www.usolympichalloffame.com target=_blank>usolympichalloffame.com<\/a> until March 28.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, six individual Olympians, one Olympic team and one Paralympian, along with a coach, a veteran and a special contributor, will be honored during the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on June 19.<\/p>\n<p>Among the finalists with aquatics backgrounds are Mary T. Meagher and Amy Van Dyken for the individual honors, while the 1976 Women&#39;s Swimming 4&#215;100 Freestyle Relay and 1996 Synchronized Swimming Team are up for the team award.
