SENIOR Christine Magnuson of Tennessee and senior Brad Test of Johns Hopkins have been named <i>Swimming World&#39;s<\/i> College Swimmers of the Week.<\/p>\n<p>The award is an extension of the National Collegiate Swimmer of the Week (NCSW) honors given out by <b>CollegeSwimming.com<\/b> across three divisions of NCAA competition.<\/p>\n<p>Magnuson joined Arizona&#39;s Albert Subirats as the NCSW Division I winners, while Ester Bosch of California University of Pennsylvania and Jason Ament of Lewis University took home the DII honors.  Test, along with Denison&#39;s Ksenia Golovkina, won the DIII award.<\/p>\n<p>Magnuson led the Lady Vols to a close 156-144 loss to #3 Florida in her last meet at the Student Aquatic Center, which is being replaced by a new pool.  She clocked an A-cut time of 1:45.92 to win the 200 free, while also winning the 50 free in 22.98.<\/p>\n<p>Test captured three titles during a tri-meet with North Carolina and Emory.  Hopkins beat Emory, 144-136, while it fell to North Carolina, 158-130.  Test claimed crowns in the 50 free (20.95), 100 free (45.95) and 200 free (1:41.68).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX, Arizona, February 8.
