AT 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, <i>Swimming World Magazine<\/i> made history by launching the first weekday aquatic news show, called <i>The Morning Swim Show<\/i>, dedicated to aquatics news and features.<\/p>\n<p>Initial reports indicated that the show is off to a good start with worldwide viewers downloading the show every 20 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>The show only appears on the website Monday through Friday. For those who would like to revisit either the Thursday or Friday show from last week, click one of the following links:<\/p>\n<p><a href=http:\/\/swimmingworldftp.swimmingworld.com:9995\/SPI-Streaming-Backup\/SwimmingWorld\/TheMorningSwimShowArchives\/Thursday(2008-01-17).wmv target=_blank>Thursday<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=http:\/\/swimmingworldftp.swimmingworld.com:9995\/SPI-Streaming-Backup\/SwimmingWorld\/TheMorningSwimShowArchives\/Friday(2008-01-18).wmv target=_blank>Friday<\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>The Morning Swim Show<\/i> is 10-minute show brings breaking interviews through special segments designed to cover a variety of aquatic topics leading up to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>For instance&#8230; <b>From the Ready Room<\/b> is a Monday feature where we bring you in-depth interviews with those who have impacted aquatic sports. Our first show will feature Misty Hyman.<\/p>\n<p>The remainder of the week, each show begins with news <b>Off the SwimInfo Wire<\/b> and followed by <b>Reaction Time<\/b>. <\/p>\n<p><b>Off the SwimInfo Wire<\/b> features the latest headlines from events around the world.  <b>Reaction Time<\/b> goes into more detail or discussion about those events.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesdays, <b>Reaction Time<\/b> is followed by either <b>Tech Training<\/b> or <b>Split Time<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tech Training<\/b> feature tips on training from aquatic experts. <b>Split Time<\/b> is a 45-second point\/counterpoint by two people with opposing views on a hot topic.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesdays, we feature <b>For the Record<\/b>. <\/p>\n<p><b>For the Record<\/b> features segments from the International Swimming Hall of Fame where we learn about the rich history of aquatics.  On some days, we will move from the Hall of Fame to exclusive interviews with athletes who are breaking records and making history now.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursdays, we go <b>Inside <i>Swimming World Magazine<\/i><\/b>. In this weekly segment, we share with our viewers exclusive content that can only be found <b>Inside <i>Swimming World Magazine<\/i><\/b>.
