Walsh, the 14-year-old from Nashville Swim Club, won the 100 back and 200 IM \u2013 breaking <b>Missy Franklin\u2019s<\/b> 13-14 National Age Group records in both \u2013 while finishing second in the 200 back. Jensen, meanwhile, swept the 50, 100, and 200 free events during the competition at Georgia Tech.<\/p>\n<p>Walsh spoke with <i>Swimming World\u2019s<\/i> David Rieder after her 200 IM win on the first night of competition. She discussed her incredible improvement in the event \u2013 she dropped four seconds in two swims in one day \u2013 and explained how backstroke had quickly become her best stroke, foreshadowing her big swims that would come over the next two days.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Alex Walsh, Nashville Aquatic Club (after 200 IM)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/r2J-EssjjlM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Jensen discussed his big swim in the 50 free, where he got under the 20-second barrier for the first time. On Thursday night, Cox put up a 4:37.82 to break <b>Amber McDermott\u2019s<\/b> meet record in the event, and the future Arizona Wildcat took a few minutes afterwards to speak with <i>Swimming World<\/i>.
