ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, December 10. THIS weekend at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club Christmas Meet, Central Virginia Aquatics head coach Kyle Wilson passed away at the age of 36 while coaching on deck.<\/p>\n

Wilson, who also is the head coach of Atlantic Coast Athletic Club and Albemarle High School, collapsed on deck according to the Central Virginia Aquatics web site. Local news stations also reported that Wilson was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.<\/p>\n

Wilson had just entered his 11th year of coaching USA Swimming, and was a Level 3 certified coach by the American Swim Coaches Association.<\/p>\n

He competed as a swimmer for Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club and swam for Auburn University from 1989-93.<\/p>\n
