He also downed the 100 breast record as well.<\/p>\n<p>A day after twice lowering the men&#8217;s 200-yard IM 15-16 U.S. National Age Group record in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/michael-andrew-downs-andrew-seliskars-15-16-nag-in-200-im\/\" target=\"_blank\">prelims with a 1:43.94<\/a> then <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/race-video-watch-michael-andrew-drop-15-16-200-im-nag-under-143\/\" target=\"_blank\">in finals with a 1:42.77<\/a>, Andrew downed his own 15-16 mark in the 100-yard fly.<\/p>\n<p>This morning, Andrew clipped his previous record of 46.36 with a 46.34 in prelims. \u00a0That swim also downed the meet record of 46.42 set by <strong>Ryan Hoffer<\/strong> of Scottsdale last year. \u00a0Hoffer qualified second behind Andrew today with a 46.44 and should give him a run in the finale.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew split the race 21.41, 46.34 (24.93) this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew originally took the 15-16 NAG from Hoffer in September with a 46.36.<\/p>\n<p>He split that race\u00a021.63, 46.36 (24.73), while Hoffer&#8217;s previous meet record of 46.42 had been the NAG before this September.
