It was a record setting day for Indie Swimming\u2019s <\/span>Michael Andrew. <\/b><\/p>\n

After setting a new 15-16 National Age Group record in the 200-yard individual medley this morning, Andrew broke his own record in evening finals. Andrew posted a time of 1:42.77, nearly four second ahead of Nitro Swim Team\u2019s <\/span>Sean Grieshop,<\/b> who finished in second. <\/span><\/p>\n

The evening started with the women\u2019s 500-yard freestyle. <\/span>Katie Drabot <\/b>of Ozaukee Aquatics won the event with a time of 4:40.49. <\/span>Taylor Ault <\/b>took second with a time of 4:41.73. Grieshop won the men\u2019s event by nearly five seconds with a time of 4:15.53. <\/span>Taylor Abbott, <\/b>Grieshop\u2019s Nitro teammate, finished in second. <\/span><\/p>\n

Drabot picked up her second win of the evening in the women\u2019s 200-yard individual medley. The Stanford recruit posted a time of 1:56.05, winning the race by over two seconds. <\/span><\/p>\n

Drabot\u2019s night was not over. She won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.49. <\/span>Olivia Calegan <\/b>finished in second place. The event marked a sweep of the night\u2019s women\u2019s events for Drabot. <\/span><\/p>\n

Scottsdale Aquatic Club\u2019s <\/span>Ryan Hoffer <\/b>took home the gold in the men\u2019s event. He posted a time of 19.06, enough to win by over eight-tenths of a second. Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics\u2019 <\/span>Albert Gwo <\/b>won the silver medal with a time of 19.94. <\/span><\/p>\n

The evening\u2019s last event was 400-yard medley relay.<\/p>\n

Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics won the women\u2019s event in 3:38.07. The team consisted of backstroker <\/span>Chloe Isleta, <\/b>breaststroker <\/span>Grace Zhao, <\/b>butterflier <\/span>Gabrielle Anderson <\/b>and freestyler <\/span>Isabelle Henig. <\/b>Crow Canyon Country Club was second with a time of 3:40.80. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the men\u2019s event, Palo Alto Stanford was also victorious. The team of backstroker <\/span>Benjamin Ho, <\/b>breaststroker <\/span>Jeremy Babinet, <\/b>butterflier <\/span>Joe Molinari <\/b>and freestyler Gwo<\/span> posted a time of 3:13.37. <\/span><\/p>\n

Going into tomorrow, Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics has a commanding lead in terms of team points. Their men\u2019s and women\u2019s combined team has earned 393 points. Scottsdale Aquatic Club is in second with 247. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
