The lists include the top open swimmers and top 18-and-under swimmers. Each USA Swimming Zone also has their respective top tens listed.<\/p>\n<p>On the girls&#8217; side, Stanford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Simone Manuel\u00a0<\/strong>seized first in the nation in the 50-meter free with her 53.98, followed closely by teammate\u00a0<strong>Lia Neal<\/strong> with a 54.01. Manuel&#8217;s race was the only new time to take first in the nation this past weekend for open competitors.<\/p>\n<p>Amongst the 18-and-unders, Carmel Swim Club&#8217;s <strong>Claire Adams<\/strong> took the top time in the country in the 100-meter back. Other new national top times came from\u00a0<strong>Erin Earley<\/strong> (Hopkins Mariner Swim Team),\u00a0<strong>Lilly King<\/strong> (Indiana University),\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Eva Merrell<\/strong> (Aquazot), and\u00a0<strong>Kathleen Baker<\/strong> (California).<\/p>\n<p>For the men&#8217;s open,\u00a0<strong>Santo Condorelli<\/strong> popped off a 48.05 to take the top spot in the 100-meter free.\u00a0<strong>Connor Dwyer\u00a0<\/strong>of Trojan Swim Club also posted a national top time in 200 free, along with\u00a0<strong>Michael McBroom<\/strong>&#8216;s 500-meter free,\u00a0<strong>Matt Grevers<\/strong>&#8216;s 200-meter back,\u00a0<strong>Sam Tierney<\/strong>&#8216;s (Missouri) 100-meter breast, and\u00a0<strong>Chase<\/strong> <strong>Kalisz&#8217;<\/strong>s 400-meter IM. And of course,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Michael Phelps<\/strong>&#8216;s 100 and 200-meter fly and 200-meter IM also topped the country&#8217;s list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maxime Rooney<\/strong>\u00a0of the Pleasanton Seahawks posted the top 18-and-under times in the country in the 100 and 200-meter free with his 49.13 and 1:48.00.\u00a0<strong>Austin Katz<\/strong> of the Sarasota YMCA Sharks topped the nation as well with his 2:00.02 200-meter back.\u00a0<strong>Alex\u00a0<\/strong><b>Valente<\/b>\u00a0(USC),\u00a0<strong>Daniel Roy<\/strong> (Spokane Area Swimming), and\u00a0<strong>Benjamin Walker<\/strong> (University of Georgia) also hit national best times.<\/p>\n<p><em>Top Ten Lists<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/usa-swimming-womens-long-course-rankings-1292015\/usa-senior-national\/2015\/December\/9\">USA Swimming Women&#8217;s Long Course Rankings &#8211; 12\/9\/2015 &#8211; Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/usa-swimming-mens-long-course-rankings-1292015\/usa-senior-national\/2015\/December\/9\">USA Swimming Men&#8217;s Long Course Rankings &#8211; 12\/9\/2015 &#8211; Results<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>USA Swimming has released their updated top 10 rankings for the 2015-2016 long course meters season following the 2015 USA Swimming Winter Nationals.
