The sophomore set a\u00a0record in the women&#8217;s 400-yard individual medley on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Queens University of Charlotte was competing at the two day Wingate Fall Frenzy. Castro-Ortega posted a 4:12.28, winning by over six seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Castro-Ortega also helped set a new pool record in the 200-yard medley relay. The team consisted of backstroker\u00a0<strong>Hannah Peiffer,<\/strong>\u00a0breaststroker\u00a0<strong>Shelly Prayson, <\/strong>butterflier\u00a0Castro-Ortega and freestyler\u00a0<strong>Kyrie Dobson.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Going into the final day of the Wingate Fall Frenzy, Queens University of Charlotte is in first place on the men&#8217;s side with 1,358.5 points. Wingate University is in second place with 1,212 points, Gardner-Webb University is in third with 1,096.5 points and Catawba College is in fourth place with 476 points.<\/p>\n<p>For the women, Queens University of Charlotte is in first with 1,357 points.
