The Cavalier team of backstroker <\/span><b>Courtney Bartholomew, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">breaststroker <\/span><b>Laura Simon, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">butterflier <\/span><b>Ellen Thomas <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and freestyler <\/span><b>Caitlin Cooper<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> posted a time of 1:35.69, easily under the NCAA \u2018A\u2019 time standard. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Auburn won the men\u2019s relay. The Tigers\u2019 relay of backstroker <\/span><b>Kyle Darmody, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">breaststroker <\/span><b>Michael Duderstadt, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">butterflier <\/span><b>Arthur Mendes <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and freestyler <\/span><b>Peter Holada <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">posted an \u2018A\u2019 time standard with a time of 1:24.56. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Georgia\u2019s <\/span><b>Emily Cameron <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">won the first individual event of the day: the women\u2019s 400-yard medley relay. Cameron posted a time of 4:05.91. <\/span><b>Jay Litherland <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">made the event a sweep for the Bulldogs, winning the men\u2019s event with an \u2018A\u2019 time standard of 3:38.68.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Georgia\u2019s roll continued in the women\u2019s 100-yard butterfly. <\/span><b>Kylie Stewart <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">won the event for the Bulldogs with a time of 52.60. California\u2019s <\/span><b>Justin Lynch <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">won the men\u2019s event with an \u2018A\u2019 time standard of 45.66. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Virginia\u2019s <\/span><b>Leah Smith <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">earned a victory in the 200-yard freestyle. She posted a time of 1:43.97. Auburn\u2019s <\/span><b>Hugo Morris <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">brought home the win in the men\u2019s race with a time of 1:34.56. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Simon won her second race of the day in the 100-yard breaststroke. She posted a time of 59.35. Duderstadt also got a second win, winning the men\u2019s race for Auburn in 52.14.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bartholomew won her second race of the day in the 100-yard backstroke, posting an \u2018A\u2019 time standard of 50.85. California\u2019s <\/span><b>Ryan Murphy <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">had a monster swim in the men\u2019s event. Murphy posted a time of 44.75, an \u2018A\u2019 time standard. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Georgia took the women\u2019s 800-yard freestyle relay. Their team of <\/span><b>Hali Flickinger, Meaghan Raab, Kylie Stewart <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>Brittany MacLean <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">posted an \u2018A\u2019 time standard of 7:00.75.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">California earned an \u2018A\u2019 time standard in the men\u2019s event. The team of <\/span><b>Long Gutierrez, Ryan Murphy, Andrew Seliskar <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>Trent Williams <\/b>took the victory and\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">posted a time of 6:16.41. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finals at day two of the University of Georgia Fall Invitational started off with a bang.
