The Minnesota Gophers won 14 of Friday\u2019s 20 events. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finals began with the women\u2019s 800-yard freestyle relay. Gustavus Adolphus College brought home the title in 8:00.90. In the men\u2019s race, South Dakota State won in 7:07.28, a NCAA \u2018B\u2019 time standard. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the home team won both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s events. The Minnesota women won with a time of 1:32.12 and the men took first with a time of 1:22.70. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The first individual event of the day was the women\u2019s 500-yard freestyle. Minnesota\u2019s <\/span><b>Brooke Zeiger <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">took the race in 4:55.55. <\/span><b>Jan Hansen <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">won the men\u2019s race for the Gophers in 4:34.64. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the women\u2019s 200-yard individual medley, <\/span><b>Kate Holmquist <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of Minnesota won by over a second with a time of 2:05.40. The Gophers also took the men\u2019s race. <\/span><b>Brian Poon <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">won with a time of 1:50.10.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Minnesota\u2019s <\/span><b>Allison Schumacher <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sprinted to victory in the women\u2019s 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.20. <\/span><b>Bowen Beckers <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">won the men\u2019s race for the Gophers with a time of 20.39. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">St. Thomas\u2019 <\/span><b>Emma Paulson <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ended Minnesota\u2019s win streak. Paulson won the women\u2019s 200-yard backstroke in 1:59.03. <\/span><b>Daryl Turner <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of Minnesota won the men\u2019s race in 1:47.27. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">San Diego State\u2019s <\/span><b>Kristin Erf <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">took the women\u2019s 100-yard breaststroke in 1:03.22, only one-hundredth of a second ahead of the second place finisher. Minnesota\u2019s <\/span><b>Conner McHugh <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">earned a \u2018B\u2019 time standard and won the men\u2019s event in 55.36.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Lauren Votava <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of Minnesota won the women\u2019s 200-yard butterfly in 1:59.39. The Gopher\u2019s <\/span><b>Nick Orf <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">picked up the men\u2019s title in 1:52.18. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Danielle Nack <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of Minnesota won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:48.97. Hansen took the men\u2019s event in 1:39.84. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The night concluded with the 400-yard medley relay. Gustavus Adolphus won the women\u2019s event in 3:58.38.
