The latest poll from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA)\/TYR Top 25 Swimming & Diving Poll show the University of Texas men continuing their reign. This was the first week this season, however, where the Longhorns did not sweep the votes as California, ranked second, snagged a first place vote.<\/p>\n

The biggest jump in the rankings came from Ohio State, moving a steep seven spots up to fourteenth.<\/p>\n

As it has all season, the University of Texas men remain atop the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America \/ TYR Top 25 Swimming & Diving Poll.\u00a0 However, for the first time this season, the Longhorns did not capture every single first place vote.\u00a0 While eight of the nine voters picked the defending NCAA champions, one selected second-ranked California. \u00a0Rankings are compiled by CSCAA-member coaches and released on a weekly basis, alternating between men\u2019s and women\u2019s team ranking.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ohio State made the biggest jump in the poll, moving up seven spots to number fourteen.\u00a0 Grand Canyon University made the highest debut, entering the ranking at #22.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The CSCAA Division Men’s Division I Committee produces in-season rankings of the 25 best performing NCAA Swimming and Diving teams in rank order at the time of each poll.\u00a0 The poll is not designed to predict the results of the NCAA Championship, but rather which teams would win head-to-head against other teams in the country. Ranking are based on performances that have taken place since the previous poll and include invites as well as dual meets.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n
