Danielle Galyer <\/b>made sure to leave her mark at the Ohio State Invitational. The Kentucky junior capped off a strong weekend with a new Kentucky record in the 200-yard backstroke. Galyer went a 1:51.52, an NCAA \u2018A\u2019 time standard and two second ahead of the second place finisher. <\/span><\/p>\n

The day started with the women\u2019s 1650-yard freestyle. Florida\u2019s <\/span>Jessica Thielman <\/b>brought home the victory with a time of 15:56.32. The Gators also won the men\u2019s event. <\/span>Arthur Frayler <\/b>touched in at 14:52.12. <\/span><\/p>\n

After Galyer\u2019s dominant showing in the women\u2019s 200-yard backstroke, <\/span>Jack Blyzinskyj <\/b>won the men\u2019s event. The Florida junior posted a time of 1:41.96. <\/span><\/p>\n

Florida\u2019s <\/span>Natalie Hinds <\/b>posted an \u2018A\u2019 time standard in the 100-yard freestyle. Hinds touched in at 47.75. <\/span>Caeleb Dressel <\/b>continued his dominant weekend for the Gators in the men\u2019s event. He won the race with a time of 42.54. He also earned an \u2018A\u2019 time standard in the event leading off the Gator\u2019s 400-yard freestyle relay. <\/span><\/p>\n

Washington State\u2019s <\/span>Presley Wetterstrom <\/b>earned the victory in the 200-yard breaststroke. The senior touched in at 2:11.24. The hometown crowd was treated to a victory in the men\u2019s event. Buckeye senior <\/span>DJ Macdonald <\/b>won in 1:59.67. <\/span><\/p>\n

An Ohio State swimmer also won the next event: the 200-yard butterfly. <\/span>Amy Bopp <\/b>won the event for the Buckeyes with a time of 1:58.51, just five-hundredths ahead of Florida\u2019s <\/span>Taylor Katz. <\/b>Florida\u2019s <\/span>Jan Switkowski <\/b>earned an \u2018A\u2019 time standard in the men\u2019s event. He posted a time of 1:42.08, over three seconds ahead of Kentucky\u2019s <\/span>Kyle Higgins. <\/b><\/p>\n

The evening ended with a Florida sweep of the 400-yard freestyle relay. The Gators\u2019 women\u2019s team consisted of <\/span>Elisavet Panti, Ashlee Linn, Mollie Pulte <\/b>and <\/span>Natalie Hinds <\/b>and posted a time of 3:16.46. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Gator men posted an \u2018A\u2019 time standard of 2:50.45. The team consisted of Dressel, <\/span>Pawel Werner, <\/b>Switkowski and <\/span>Corey Main. <\/b><\/p>\n
