North Carolina State made sure that the Nike Cup ended with a bang. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Wolfpack\u2019s 400-yard freestyle relay team of <\/span>Ryan Held, Simonas Bilis, Joe Bonk <\/b>and <\/span>Andreas Schiellerup<\/b> won the event by over five seconds. The team went a 2:50.94, an NCAA \u2018A\u2019 time standard.<\/span><\/p>\n

The day started off with swimming\u2019s marathon event: the 1650-yard freestyle. <\/span>Eva Fabian <\/b>of Yale took the women\u2019s title, swimming the race in 16:17.09. Fabian finished under two-tenths of a second ahead of <\/span>Cailley Silbert, <\/b>her Bulldog teammate. On the men\u2019s side, North Carolina State\u2019s <\/span>Anton Ipsen <\/b>won the race by 15 seconds, posting a time of 14:52.00.<\/span><\/p>\n

Duke\u2019s <\/span>Maddie Hess <\/b>brought home the women\u2019s 200-yard backstroke title with a time of 1:55.14. <\/span>Nic Graesser <\/b>of North Carolina won the men\u2019s event in 1:46.41. <\/span><\/p>\n

North Carolina State\u2019s <\/span>Alexia Zevnik <\/b>out-touched teammate <\/span>Riki Bonnema <\/b>in the women\u2019s 100-yard freestyle. Zevnik posted a time of 48.60. Held won the event on the men\u2019s side, touching in at 42.94.<\/span><\/p>\n

After sweeping the 100-yard freestyle, the Wolfpack continued to roll in the women\u2019s 200-yard breaststroke. North Carolina State\u2019s <\/span>Kayla Brumbaum <\/b>won the event in 2:10.62, three seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Navy\u2019s <\/span>Marlin Brutkiewicz <\/b>won the men\u2019s event in 1:56.66. <\/span><\/p>\n

Duke\u2019s <\/span>Isa Paez <\/b>won the women\u2019s 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:56.14. On the men\u2019s side, North Carolina State\u2019s <\/span>Christian McCurdy <\/b>brought home first place in 1:42.61. <\/span><\/p>\n

North Carolina State brought home first place in the women\u2019s 400-yard freestyle. The team was made up of <\/span>Natalie Labonge, <\/b>Zevnik, <\/span>Krista Duffield <\/b>and Bonnema and went a 3:14.39. <\/span><\/p>\n

Duke won the meet on the men\u2019s side. The Blue Devils finished with 1721 points. North Carolina State was in second and North Carolina was in third. <\/span><\/p>\n

North Carolina took the women\u2019s championship with 1815 points. Duke finished in second and Yale was third.<\/p>\n
