Shores, who was massacred by the Olympic Club last night, 19-5, only converted one of its six man-advantage opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Newport b&#8230;&#8230;12<br \/>\nNavy\tAC&#8230;&#8230;5<\/p>\n<p>\tNavy failed to capitalize on nine of 10 man-up chances and was shutout in the final quarter en route to a 12-5 loss at the hands of Newport B. Seven different players popped goals for Newport B, including Tony Grosso and Dan Hayes, who each had three.<\/p>\n<p>Long Beach Shore&#8230;12<br \/>\nNYAC B&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..3<\/p>\n<p>\tLocal boy Tony Azevedo shined again in front of the hometown crowd, this time scoring three goals for Long Beach Shore Aquatics in a 12-3 victory over New York Athletic Club B.<br \/>\n\tNew York goalkeeper Brett Adolph stopped 10 shots on goal in the loss.<\/p>\n<p>Big Valley&#8230;&#8230;.6<br \/>\nOlympic Club&#8230;.12<\/p>\n<p>\tBrent Albright and Ryan Flynn each tallied three goals for the Olympic Club in a 12-6 win over Big Valley. The Olympic Club outscored Big Valley 5-0 in the third quarter and 4-2 in the fourth to secure the victory. Chris Lund scored two goals for Big Valley in the loss.<\/p>\n<p>NYAC A&#8230;&#8230;8<br \/>\nBruin&#8230;&#8230;13<\/p>\n<p>\tSean Kern and Ryan Brown scored four goals apiece in Bruin\u2019s 13-8 dismantling of NYAC A. Wolf Wigo scored four goals in the loss for NYAC, who was outscored 5-1 in the fourth quarter.<br \/>\n\tBruin keeper Brandon Brooks collected nine saves in the loss.<\/p>\n<p>Concord&#8230;&#8230;.8<br \/>\nNewport A&#8230;.12<\/p>\n<p>\tNewport added to a 6-5 halftime lead with five third-period goals en route to a 12-8 win over Concord. Ryan Bailey and Mark Hunt both scored three goals in the win.<br \/>\n\tOmar Amr and Craig Watson both had a pair of goals for Newport A. Concord goalkeeper Russell Bernstein and Newport keeper Genie Kerr each had nine saves.<\/p>\n<p>Big Valley&#8230;&#8230;8<br \/>\nNYAC B&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.8<\/p>\n<p>Burak Incecam\u2019s goal with 30 seconds to play gave NYAC B an 8-8 tie with Big Valley in pool play. Mike Judge cut NYAC B\u2019s deficit to one with 2:30 remaining to set up Incecam\u2019s tying goal two minutes later.<br \/>\n\tIncecam finished the day with three goals, while Judge and Ali Gozluk had two each.<\/p>\n<p>Long Beach Shore&#8230;&#8230;2<br \/>\nOlympic Club&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.7<\/p>\n<p>\tChris Humbert stole the show in the Olympic Club\u2019s 7-2 win over Long Beach Shore Aquatics. Humbert got the job done on the offensive end, scoring five goals on the day, but finished the game up with a red cap on in goal, actually sneaking in the save column with one.<br \/>\n\tHis predecessor in goal, Chris Aguilera, notched 10 saves before being relieved.<br \/>\n\tThe two teams were a combined 0-for-12 on man advantages.<\/p>\n<p>Concord&#8230;..7<br \/>\nBruin&#8230;&#8230;.6<\/p>\n<p>\tMike West\u2019s three goals helped push Concord past Bruin, 7-6. Six different players scored for Bruin. Brian Brown\u2019s last second catch-and-shoot goal from the hole wasn\u2019t enough for Bruin, who absorbed the loss.<br \/>\n\tAttila Bandihy scored two goals for Concord.<\/p>\n<p>NYAC A&#8230;..10<br \/>\nNewport A&#8230;7<\/p>\n<p>\tChema Abarca had a bust-out game for the tournament, netting five goals for NYAC A in a 10-7 win against Newport A. Wolf Wigo also had a strong showing, connecting three times on the day.<br \/>\nNYAC goalkeeper Jack Bowen had six saves, while Newport goalkeeper Genie Kerr picked off 11 would-be scorers.\t<\/p>\n<p>San Diego Shores&#8230;7<br \/>\nNavy AC&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;6<\/p>\n<p>\tSan Diego Shores\u2019 Jessie Smith scored three goals in a 7-6 win over Navy Athletic Club. Navy\u2019s Sean Foster also had three goals.<br \/>\n\tTrailing 7-5 in the fourth, Navy closed the gap to one on a goal by Andrew Sause with 4:16 left. However, San Diego managed to stave off a rally and held on for the win.<\/p>\n<p>Trojan&#8230;&#8230;4<br \/>\nNewport B&#8230;9<\/p>\n<p>\tNewport B, led by Jeff Powers\u2019 four goals, glided past Trojan, 9-4.<br \/>\n\tPowers, who only failed to score in one quarter, was joined in the score column by teammates Kevin Brantley (1), Chris Kirchwehm (1), Jon Dorfi (1), and Dan Klatt (2).<br \/>\n\tNewport goalkeeper Dan Hipp fended off 12 shots on goal in the win.
