INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, November 10. THE Xavier men's and women's swimming teams picked up wins at IUPUI Friday after noon as XU won 21 of the 32 total events, four of which were diving events that the Musketeers do not compete in. The women defeated IUPUI by a margin of 60, 166-116, and are now 3-0-1 on the year. The men bested IUPUI by 30 points, 158-128, and improve to 2-2 for the season.<\/p>\n

Xavier's team of sophomore Mary Catherine Mahon and freshmen Martha Cutter-Wilson, Elaina Suba and Kari Peglar touched first in the women's 400 Medley Relay with a time of 4:02.00. On the men's side, XU's team of junior Matt Krouse, sophomore Matt Marcus and freshmen Mickey Hefertepe and John Roof placed first in the same event with the time of 3:34.49.<\/p>\n
